Abstract

INDONESIA Fosfat merupakan nutrient essensial yang diperlukan oleh tanaman dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Fosfat sebenarnya terdapat dalam jumlah yang melimpah dalam tanah, namun sekitar 95-99% terdapat dalam bentuk fosfat tidak terlarut sehingga tidak dapat digunakan oleh tanaman. Aktivitas mikroba tanah berpengaruh langsung terhadap ketersediaan fosfat di dalam tanah. Keberadaan mikroba pada tanah di sekitar akar tanaman dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu indikator dalam memonitor kualitas suatu ekosistem dan juga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam membantu pertumbuhan tanaman salah satunya tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) merupakan salahsatu jenis tanaman holtikultura penting yang dibudidayakan secara konversial, hal ini disebabkan selain cabai memiliki kandungan gizi yang cukup lengkap juga memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh bakteri pelarut fosfat isolat K2.BR.5 terhadap perkecambahan tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) serta mengidentifikasi kemampuan bakteri dalam melarutkan fosfat. Data hasil aplikasi dianalisis secara statistik dengan metode analisis variansi satu arah (one way Anova) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dilanjut uji Duncan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, dan berat basah. Pemberian bakteri pelarut fosfat tersebut berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan panjang akar tanaman cabai merah. Akan tetapi kurang berpengaruh terhadap berat basah tanaman cabai merah. ENGLISH Phosphate is an essential nutrient required by plants in their growth and development. Phosphate is actually present in abundant amounts in the soil, but about 95-99% are in the form of insoluble phosphate and so can not be used by plants. Soil microbial activity directly affects the availability of phosphate in the soil. The existence of microbes in the soil around the roots of plants can be used as an indicator to monitor the quality of an ecosystem and can also be used to help grow one crop of red pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). Red chili pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the main types of horticultural crops cultivated konversial important, it is because in addition to the chili has a fairly complete nutritional content also has a high economic value. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of bacterial isolates K2.BR.5 phosphate solvent to the germination of red pepper plant (Capsicum annuum L.) and to identify the ability of bacteria in dissolving phosphate. Data were statistically analyzed by the application of methods of analysis of variance in one direction (one way ANOVA) at a significance level of 5% and the test continued Duncan. The parameters observed were plant height, root length, and fresh weight. Giving bacteria phosphate solvent such significant effect on plant height and root length red pepper plant. But there is less effect on the wet weight of red pepper plants.
