Abstract

Manajemen Sampah Zero (MASARO) adalah konsep terbaru dan dianggap paling solutif oleh para ahli dalam menanggulangi sampah di Indonesia. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah merancang bangun Prototype Pengendali Alat Penghancur Sampah Dalam Pengelolaan Manajemen Sampah Zero (MASARO) Menggunakan Android dan Arduino. Prototype ini dapat dikendalikan secara nirkabel dengan menggunakan media komunikasi bluetooth dan smartphone Android sebagai remote control. Prototype ini dirancang dengan menggunakan motor AC yang telah dipasang dengan beberapa mata pisau yang berfungsi sebagai pencacah sampah organik dan selenoid valve sebagai kran tempat keluarnya sampah hasil proses penghancuran. Hasil pengujian jarak didapatkan 26 meter untuk jarak terjauh jangkauan bluetooth di area outdoor (tanpa penghalang) dengan maksimum delay respons 0,88 detik dan jarak terjauh jangkauan bluetooth di area indoor (dengan penghalang) didapatkan hasil 11 meter dengan maksimum delay respons 1,27 detik. Zero Waste Management (MASARO) is the latest concept and is considered the most solution by experts in dealing with waste in Indonesia. The main objective of the research is to design a Prototype Controller for the Waste Shredder in Zero Waste Management (MASARO) using Android and Arduino. This prototype can be controlled wirelessly by using bluetooth communication media and an Android smartphone as a remote control. This prototype is designed using an AC motor that has been installed with a number of blades that function as enumerators of organic waste and selenoid valve as a tap where the waste is released from the destruction process. The test results obtained a distance of 26 meters for the farthest distance of bluetooth coverage in the outdoor area (without a barrier) with a maximum response delay of 0.88 seconds and obtained 11 meters for the farthest distance of bluetooth coverage in the indoor area (with a barrier) with a maximum response delay of 1.27 seconds.
