Abstract

INDONESIA Upaya peningkatan produksi kacang hijau bisa melalui pemanfaatan berbagai pemberian pupuk organik dan media tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh dosis bahan organik hasil fermentsai batang pisang dan komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau varietas Kutilang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari Agustus sampai Oktober 2018 di Desa Manggahang, Kecamatan Baleendah, Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial 2 faktor dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah bahan organik hasil fermentasi batang pisang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu b0 = 0 t ha-1 (kontrol), b1 = 10 t ha-1, b2 = 20 t ha-1 dan b3 = 30 t ha-1. Faktor kedua adalah komposisi media tanam terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu m1 = Tanah, m2 = Tanah+Pasir, dan m3 = Tanah+Arang sekam. Uji lanjut yang digunakan adalah uji DMRT 5% (Duncan’s multiple range test). Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak terjadi interaksi antara dosis bahan organik hasil fermentasi batang pisang dan komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau varietas Kutilang. Secara mandiri bahan organik hasil fermentasi batang pisang berpengaruh nyata dengan dosis 10 t ha-1 (b1) merupakan nilai terbaik untuk tinggi tanaman, berat kering brangkasan, bobot segar polong, bobot kering polong, jumlah polong, dan berat biji kacang hijau. Sedangkan komposisi media tanam (m1) berpengaruh terhadap berat kering brangkasan dan berat kering polong pertanaman. ENGLISH Effort to increase green bean production can be through the use of provision of organic fertilizer and the various planting medium . This study aimed to study the effect of various doses of organic material produced by fermented banana stem and composition of growing medium that influence the growth and yield of green bean plants Kutilang variety. This research was conducted from August to October 2018 in Manggahang, Baleendah, Bandung. This study used a factorial randomized complete design with three replications consisting of two factors. The first factor was organic material from Fermented banana stem consisted of 4 levels, namely b0 = 0 t ha-1 (control), b1 = 10 t ha-1, b2 = 20 t ha-1 and b3 = 30 t ha-1. The second factor was the composition of the planting medium which consisted of 3 levels, namely m1 = soil, m2 = soil + sand, and m3 = soil + rice husk charcoal. The further test used was 5% DMRT test (Duncan's multiple range test). The results showed no interaction between the dosage of organic material from fermented banana stems and the composition of the growing medium on the growth of green bean plants Kutilang variety. There was independent effect from fermented banana stems with a dose of 10 t ha-1 (b1), gave an optimal effect on plant height, stover dry weight, pod fresh weight, pod dry weight, number of pods, and weight of green bean seeds. While the composition of soil planting media (m1) affect the dry weight of stover and dry weight of plant pods.
