Abstract

INDONESIA Karakter disiplin adalah karakter yang harus ditanamkan sedini mungkin kepada peserta didik. Pada abad 21 ini, kedisiplinan peserta didik sudah sangat mengkhawatirkan sekali, peserta didik sudah jarang memperhatikan kedisiplinan. Apabila tidak diperbaiki sejak dini maka kebiasaan tersebut akan menjadi kebiasaan buruk yang akan tertanam pada diri peserta didik. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler merupakan kegiatan non akademik yang dilaksanakan di luar jam pelajaran sekolah. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter disiplin peserta didik agar peserta didik sadar dan terbiasa untuk berdisiplin tanpa ada paksaan dari siapapun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen peningkatan karakter disiplin peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan dampak kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang Bogor. Dalam proses pendidikan, peningkatan karakter disiplin merupakan suatu keharusan. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler memiliki pengaruh yang besar bagi peningkatan karakter disiplin peserta didik. Melalui berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti pramuka, peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, mandiri, kerja keras, inovatif, kreatif dan berbagai hal yang dapat bermanfaat bagi diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala madrasah bidang kesiswaan sebagai key informant. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan snow ball process oleh kepala madrasah, pembimbing kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan manajemen peningkatan karakter disiplin peserta didik meliputi perumusan tujuan yang akan dicapai, pembentukan pembimbing dan pengurus kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pembagian tugas pokok dan fungsi, penyusunan program kerja dan instrumen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, mekanisme monitoring dan evaluasi dan unsur-unsur yang terlibat dalam manajemen peningkatan karakter disiplin peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode 24 jam dan program pembiasaan, materi yang diberikan yaitu materi pembinaan kesiswaan, materi tentang akhlakul karimah dan penekanan nilai-nilai spiritual. Evaluasinya dilaksanakan satu bulan sekali dengan cara musyawarah. Jenis evaluasinya terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu internal dan eksternal, evaluasi internal dilaksanakan oleh seluruh stakeholder madrasah sedangkan evaluasi eksternal dilaksanakan oleh kepala madrasah dan wali murid. Dampak kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin peserta didik dapat dilihat melalui capaian prestasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang telah diraih oleh peserta didik. Selain itu, bukti konkritnya dapat dilihat melalui tingkat pelanggaran peserta didik yang berkurang dan meningkatnya kedisiplinan yang tercermin dalam keseharian peserta didik seperti tepat waktu dan membudayakan antri dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan sehari-hari. ENGLISH Discipline character is a character that must be instilled as early as possible for students. In this 21st century, the discipline of students has been very worrying, students have rarely paid attention to discipline. If it is not repaired early, the habit will become a bad habit that will be embedded in the students. Extracurricular activities are non-academic activities carried out outside school hours. Extracurricular activities are expected to form the discipline character of students so that students are aware and accustomed to discipline without any coercion from anyone. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of increasing character discipline of students through extracurricular activities which included planning, implementing, evaluating and impacting extracurricular activities to improve the discipline character of students in the Leuwiliang Islamic Middle School Ummul Quro Al-Islami. In the education process, improving the character of discipline is a must. Extracurricular activities have a great influence on improving the discipline character of students. Through various extracurricular activities such as scouts, students can improve their discipline, responsibility, independence, hard work, innovative, creative and various things that can benefit themselves. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation studies. The main data source in this study was the deputy head of the madrasa student field as a key informant. Then proceed with the snow ball process by the head of the madrasa, supervising extracurricular activities and students. From the results of this study it can be concluded that management planning enhances the character of students' discipline includes the formulation of objectives to be achieved, formation of supervisors and administrators of extracurricular activities, division of basic tasks and functions, preparation of work programs and instruments of extracurricular activities, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and elements involved in the management of increasing the discipline character of students through extracurricular activities. The implementation uses a 24-hour method and a habituation program, the material provided is material for student development, material about moral virtue and emphasis on spiritual values. The evaluation is carried out once a month by deliberation. The type of evaluation is divided into 2 namely internal and external, internal evaluations are carried out by all madrasa stakeholders while external evaluations are carried out by the head of the madrasa and guardians of the student. The impact of extracurricular activities to improve students' character discipline can be seen through the achievements of extracurricular activities that have been achieved by students. In addition, the concrete evidence can be seen through the reduced level of student violations and increased discipline reflected in the daily lives of students such as being on time and civilizing in carrying out various daily activities.
