Abstract

INDONESIA Hakikat pendidikan adalah proses pembelajaran. Tidak ada kualitas pendidikan tanpa adanya kualitas pembelajaran. Perubahan sistem pada pengelolaan baik dari segi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, harus terdapat supervisi yang jelas. Oleh karena dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah, pemerintah dalam hal ini Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional, mengembangkan berbagai program yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran terutama melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat supervisi akademik yang dilakukan kepala madrasah. Supervisi akademik sebagai serangkaian kegiatan membantu pendidik mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertolak pada pemikiran bahwa untuk mencapai tujuan supervisi akademik di madrasah yang efektif dan efisien dengan dikelola secara sistematis, yaitu 1) perencanaan; 2) pelaksanaan; 3) evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan unitisasi data, reduksi data, dan penyajian data. Adapun uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, analisis kasus negatif, menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik telah diterapkan dengan menggunakan manajemen supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ciamis. Kepala madrasah membuat perencanaan program supervisi akademik diawal tahun pelajaran dengan menyusun jadwal supervisi dan team supervisor. Dalam pelaksanaan supervisi dilakukan dengan menilai perangkat pembelajaran kemudian terjun ke setiap kelas, selain itu ada pengontrolan dari team supervisor di setiap kelas. Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik diantaranya kelengkapan fasilitas, komitmen dari setiap guru dan kegiatan supervisi sudah terjadwal. Sedangkan faktor penghambat diantaranya kesibukan kepala madrasah serta masih kurang maksimal tindak lanjut yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah. Dalam tindak lanjut dilakukan dalam setiap rapat rutinan, bulanan maupun tahunan serta dengan memanggil setiap guru secara personal untuk memberikan pemahaman terkait proses pembelajaran. ENGLISH The essence of education is the learning process. There is no quality of education without the quality of learning. Changes in the management system both in terms of educators and education personnel, there must be clear supervision. Therefore, in the context of improving the quality of education in madrassas, the government, in this case the Ministry of National Education, is developing various programs that are expected to improve the quality of learning especially through academic supervision activities. The research objective is to find out and describe the implementation of planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of academic supervision conducted by the madrasa headmaster. Academic supervision as a series of activities helps educators develop their abilities in managing the learning process to achieve learning objectives. This research is based on the idea that to achieve the goals of effective and efficient academic supervision in madrassas systematically managed, namely 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) evaluation and follow-up. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analyzes are performed by data unitization, data reduction, and data presentation. The data validity test is done by extending participation, perseverance of observation, triangulation, peer examination, negative case analysis, using reference material. The results of this study indicate that academic supervision has been implemented using supervision management conducted by the headmaster of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ciamis. The headmaster of madrasa makes plans for the academic supervision program at the beginning of the school year by arranging the supervision schedule and the team supervisor. In the implementation of supervision is done by assessing the learning tools and then plunge into each class, in addition there is control from the supervisor team in each class. Supporting factors in the implementation of academic supervision include the completeness of the facilities, the commitment of each teacher and the scheduled supervision activities. While the inhibiting factors include the madrasa head's bustle and the lack of maximum follow-up by the madrasa head. The follow-up is done in every routine, monthly or annual meeting and by personally calling each teacher to provide an understanding of the learning process.
