Abstract

When compared with madrassas and pesantren which are by target and by design, the curriculum at majelis taklim is less measurable with a more heterogeneous mustami. Therefore a discovery alternative needed to present Islamic studies that are more varied and impactful. One of them is through memorizing constructivism methods. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive comparative type comparison method that is comparing behaviorism learning methods with constructivism in majelis taklim. The theory used is the individual cognitive constructivist of Piaget especially in accommodation and assimilation aspects (Suparno, 1997; Desmita, 2010). The research findings explain that constructivism approaches such as the Hanifida Method or Kauny Quantum Memory (KQM) offer assimilation experiences with sufficiently innovative processes to form creative accommodation attitudes. This can encourage learning acceleration. Unlike the pattern of behaviorism such as the Iqra, Qiraati or al-Baghdady methods which do not provide new stimulation to the learning process in majelis taklim. .
