Abstract

Bentuk Jarak Tanam Legowo dan Jumlah Bibit per Lubang Tanam merupakan salah satu faktor dalam usaha meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penetapan bentuk jarak tanam legowo dan jumlah bibit per lubang tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.) Varietas IPB 3S. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Binong Kabupaten Subang sejak bulan November 2016 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental (percobaan) berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor, faktor pertama adalah bentuk jarak tanam legowo (a) dengan 3 taraf jenis bentuk jarak tanam legowo yaitu a1 =bentuk jarak tanam legowo bujur sangkar, a2 = bentuk jarak tanam legowo segitiga, a3 = bentuk jarak tanam legowo persegi panjang. Faktor kedua adalah jumlah bibit per lubang tanam (b) dengan 3 taraf banyaknya jumlah bibit per lubang tanam yaitu b1 = 1 bibit per lubang tanam, b2 = 5 bibit per lubang tanam, b3 = 10 bibit per lubang tanam, dengan parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah malai per rumpun, jumlah gabah per malai, bobot 1000 biji dan hasil panen per petak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan bentuk jarak tanam legowo dan jumlah bibit per lubang tanam terhadap semua parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah malai, jumlah gabah, bobot 1000 biji dan hasil panen per petak. Secara mandiri perlakuan bentuk persegi panjang jarak tanam legowo (a3) memberikan hasil panen yang paling tinggi sebesar 4,47 kg per petak deberikan dan perlakuan 10 bibit per lubang tanam (b3) memberikan hasil panen yang paling tinggi sebesar 4,41 kg per petak tetapi untuk efesiensi penggunaan benih maka direkomendasikan perlakuan 5 bibit per lubang tanam (b2) dengan hasil panen sebesar 4,28 kg per petak. Legowo Planting Spot and Number of Seeds per Planting Hole is one of the factors in the effort to increase the growth and yield of rice plant (Oryza sativa L.). This research aimed to determine the effect of determining the shape of legowo plant spot and the number of seeds per planting hole on growth and yield of rice plant (Oryza sativa L.) IPB 3S variety. This research was conducted in Binong, Subang since November 2016 until March 2017. The research method used is experimental method of factorial randomized block design with 2 factors, first factor is legowo spot (a) with 3 types of spot form legowo that is a1 = square spot form legowo square, a2 = spot form legowo triangle, a3 = spot form legowo rectangle. The second factor is the number of seedlings per planting hole (b) with 3 levels of number of seedlings per planting hole ie b1 = 1 seedlings per planting hole, b2 = 5 seeds per planting hole, b3 = 10 seeds per planting hole, with observation parameters including height plants, number of tillers per hill, number of panicles per hill, number of grains per panicle, weight of 1000 seeds and yield of harvest per plot. The results showed no interaction between legowo plant spot treatment and the number of seedlings per planting hole on all parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, number of panicles, number of grains, weight of 1000 seeds and harvest per plot. Independently the rectangular shape of the legowo spot treatment (a3) gave the highest yield of 4.47 kg per plot and the treatment of 10 seedlings per planting pit (b3) gave the highest yield of 4.41 kg per plot but for seed efficiency, it is recommended 5 seeds per planting hole (b2) with yield of 4.28 kg per plot.
