Abstract
This research aims to examine the authenticity of the hadith concerning the prayer for entering the marketplace through the methods of takhrij al-hadith and dirasah asanid, as well as to analyze its implications for improving the etiquettes of supplication. The primary focus of the study is to conduct a comprehensive investigation of hadith sources, analyze the chain of narrators (sanad) and text (matn), and explore the understanding and application of this hadith in the context of contemporary Muslim life. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing the approach of hadith sciences, including takhrij al-hadith, dirasah asanid, and content analysis. Primary sources are derived from major hadith compilations, while secondary sources include hadith commentaries, fiqh books, and relevant contemporary literature. Data collection techniques involve library research and documentation, while data analysis uses the methods of sanad and matn criticism, as well as comparative analysis. The research findings indicate that the hadith on the prayer for entering the marketplace is narrated in various hadith books with variations in wording. The sanad analysis reveals the level of authenticity of the hadith, considering the continuity of the chain of narrators, the integrity and precision of the narrators, and the absence of hidden defects ('illah) and anomalies (shudhudh). The matn study examines the hadith's consistency with the Quran, other authentic hadiths, and general principles of Islamic law. This research also explores the implications of this hadith for improving the etiquettes of supplication, including aspects of choosing the time and place for supplication, formulation of prayers, and the attitude and inner state while supplicating. Further analysis reveals the relevance and application of this hadith in the context of modern life, especially concerning spirituality in economic and social activities. The conclusion of the research affirms the importance of a comprehensive understanding of the hadith on the prayer for entering the marketplace, both in terms of its authenticity and its meaning and application. The implications of this research are significant for developing hadith insights, improving the quality of worship, and strengthening the spiritual dimension in the daily lives of Muslims.
