Abstract
The land has great potential in supporting the activities of human life. The land can be used as an agricultural area and settlements, often in its development, there is a change of land intended functions, Soil degradation is a loss of potential or ground functions in support of a better life. Generally, factors causing land degradation can naturally or due to human intervention that causes decreased quality and productivity of the soil. The farmer manner on the production of cultivated crops and the manner in organic farming and the postharvest activities. This study aims to determine the soil and water conservation techniques on degraded land as well as ways to overcome them through the rehabilitation process. Research done by observation of agricultural land around the village of Bandung. The results of observations show with the addition of organic matter of soil and soil with their rehabilitation increase the productivity of degraded soils impacted so as to support the farming system.
