Abstract

INDONESIA: Media massa memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat luas. Selain sebagai penyalur informasi, media juga berperan sebagai kontrol sosial serta pembentuk opini publik. Akan tetapi, dalam praktiknya media massa sering menjadi sasaran empuk bagi pihak tertentu untuk memengaruhi isi beritanya khususnya pemberitaan isu korupsi. Detik.com menjadi salah satu media yang cukup vokal dalam memberitakan isu nasional seperti korupsi. Salah satunya korupsi yang dilakukan oleh SYL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana wacana sidang vonis terhadap hegemoni direpresentasikan dalam dimensi teks, diskursus, dan sosial. Model yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Analisis Wacana Kritis Norman Fairclough. Model ini digunakan untuk membongkar ideologi yang terdapat pada sebuah wacana untuk membentuk opini publik. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah Analisis Wacana Kritis dengan tujuan membantu memahami masalah – masalah sosial dalam hubungannya antara ideologi dan kekuasaan melalui identifikasi yang tersembunyi dalam sebuah teks. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dimensi teks terlihat bahwa pemilihan diksi di pemberitaan SYL oleh Detik.com dilakukan dengan berbagai penekanan dan terperinci. Penjelasan nominal korupsi, tuntutan hukuman, dan detail lainnya. Media ini berusaha menekankan permasalahan yang cukup serius. diskursus pada pemberitaan ini, secara intertekstualitas merujuk pada hukum dan peran SYL sebagai Menteri Pertanian. Sedangkan cara interdiskursivitas Detik.com menggunakan berbagai diskursus seperti hukum, politik, dan moral. Pada dimensi ini menunjukkan bahwa, Detik.com berusaha mengandalkan sumber informasi pertama dan terpercaya seperti KPK dan jaksa. Tataran dimensi sosial dicerminksn oleh komentar publik sebagai ruang diskusi. Sentimen negatif publik ditujukan pada sistem hukum di Indonesia yang cenderung berat sebelah seolah hukuman koruptor tidak seimbang dengan kerugian yang ditimbulkan. ENGLISH: Mass media plays a vital role in society. Beyond simply disseminating information, it also serves as a form of social control and shapes public opinion. However, in practice, mass media often becomes a target for certain parties seeking to influence the content of its news, particularly regarding corruption issues. Detik.com is one media outlet known for its vocal coverage of national issues, such as the corruption case involving SYL. This research aims to understand how the discourse of the verdict hearing against hegemony is represented in the dimensions of text, discourse, and social context. This research employs Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis model. This model is used to deconstruct the ideologies present within a discourse in order to shape public opinion. The researcher utilizes the Critical Discourse Analysis method with the objective of helping to understand social problems in relation to ideology and power, through the identification of hidden assumptions within a text. The results of this study show that, in the text dimension, the selection of diction in Detik.com's coverage of SYL is done with various emphases and in detail, including explanations of the amount of corruption, sentencing demands, and other specific details. The media seeks to emphasize the serious nature of the issue. In the discourse dimension, the coverage intertextually refers to the law and SYL's role as Minister of Agriculture. Regarding interdiscursivity, Detik.com utilizes various discourses such as legal, political, and moral. This dimension indicates that Detik.com strives to rely on primary and trusted information sources, such as the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) and prosecutors. The social dimension is reflected in public comments as a space for discussion. Negative public sentiment is directed towards the Indonesian legal system, which is perceived as biased, as if the sentences for corruptors are not commensurate with the damages caused.
