Abstract

Rue (Ruta angustifolia (L.) Pers.) is a nutritious plant containing medicinal substances active that can inhibit bacterial activity. Rue plants including categories plants that start rarely found because of excessive exploitation to meet the demand as a medicinal plant. In general, Rue reproduced conventionally but produces small amounts of seedlings for long time and susceptible to pest attack. The purpose of this study to know the influence of NAA and BAP on plant propagation Rue as in vitro. The study was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory State Islamic University Sunan Gunung Djati from August until February 2018. The research method used is descriptive, The treatment design used consisted of 2 factors: NAA (0.05ppm, 0.1ppm, 0.15 ppm) and BAP (0.5 ppm, 1 ppm and 1.5 ppm) are repeated three times. The results showed administration (NAA 0.05ppm + BAP 0.5ppm) gives the most influence both on callus forming at 7 HSI. Treatment (NAA 0ppm + BAP 0,5ppm, NAA 0ppm + BAP 1ppm, NAA 0,1ppm + BAP 1ppm, and NAA 0.15ppm + BAP 0.5ppm) resulted in the callus green color. Formation of the fastest shoots on treatment (BAP 0.5ppm) without combination of NAA ie 32 HSI and treatment (NAA 0,1ppm + BAP 1ppm) resulting in the largest number of shoots as many as 9 pieces.
