Abstract

Literary works are a reflection of society's social realities. Therefore, the sociology of literature can analyze a literary work from a social aspect. Marxist theory, as a lens of analysis, provides a sharp understanding of this. Furthermore, the forms of resistance observed include, 1) Proletarian class consciousness, 2)Collective rejection, 3)Repressive sabotage, 4)Group formation, 5) Direct action and threats of murder
