Abstract

Aglaonema merupakan tanaman yang memiliki daun yang indah sehingga digemari Masyarakat dan memiliki potensi pasar yang tinggi sehingga Aglaonema dibutuhkan dalam jumlah banyak. Metode konvensional memakan waktu yang lama untuk tumbuh tunasnya sehingga tidak dapat memenuhi permintaan produksi Aglaonema yang tinggi, maka dari itu perlu metode perbanyakan yang cepat dan menghasilkan jumlah planlet yang banyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbanyak Aglaonema dengan metode kultur kalus untuk menjadi planlet berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 10 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari A = MS0 (Kontrol); B = Benzyl Amino Purine 1 mg L-1 + 100 ml L-1 air kelapa; C = Benzyl Amino Purine 1 mg L-1 + 150 ml L-1 air kelapa; D = Benzyl Amino Purine 1 mg L-1 + 200 ml L-1 air kelapa; E = Benzyl Amino Purine 3 mg L-1 + 100 ml L-1 air kelapa; F = Benzyl Amino Purine 3 mg L-1 + 150 ml L-1 air kelapa; G = Benzyl Amino Purine 3 mg L-1 + 200 ml L-1 air kelapa; H = Benzyl Amino Purine 5 mg L-1 + 100 ml L-1 air kelapa; I = Benzyl Amino Purine 5 mg L-1 + 150 ml L-1 air kelapa; J = Benzyl Amino Purine 5 mg L-1 + 200 ml L-1 air kelapa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak berpengaruh nyata pemberian kombinasi air kelapa dan BAP terhadap pertumbuhan kalus. Aglaonema is a plant with attractive foliage, making it popular among the public and highly demanded in the market. Conventional propagation methods take a long time for shoots to develop, making them insufficient to meet the high production demands of Aglaonema. Therefore, a rapid propagation method capable of producing a large number of plantlets is necessary. This study aims to propagate Aglaonema using a callus culture method to produce high-quality plantlets. The method used in this research was a completely randomized design with 10 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatments consisted of: A = Control (no treatment); B = 1 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 100 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; C = 1 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 150 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; D = 1 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 200 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; E = 3 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 100 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; F = 3 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 150 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; G = 3 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 200 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; H = 5 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 100 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; I = 5 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 150 ml L⁻¹ coconut water; J = 5 mg L⁻¹ Benzyl Amino Purine + 200 ml L⁻¹ coconut water. The results showed that the combination of coconut water and BAP had no significant effect on callus growth.
