Abstract
Indonesia: Dalam sistem kerja modern, pekerja dihadapkan pada tekanan adaptasi terhadap sistem kerja baru, target tinggi, dan keseimbangan kehidupan pribadi yang menjadi terganggu, dan kemudian berisiko menyebabkan burnout pekerja. Ketahanan psikologis yaitu hardiness diperlukan sebagai mekanisme pertahanan dalam menghadapi stresor pekerjaan, namun hardiness saja belum cukup tanpa adanya keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan pribadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hardiness terhadap burnout dengan work life balance sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 32 pekerja PT. Markoni Mandiri Karawang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hardiness berpengaruh negatif terhadap burnout dan work life balance berperan sebagai mediasi penuh yang signifikan. Kesimpulannya, hardiness memengaruhi burnout pada pekerja melalui perannya dalam meningkatkan atau mempertahankan work life balance. English: Modern work system demand rapid adaptation to new systems, high performance expectations, and disrupted personal balance, increasing the risk of employee burnout. hardiness is essential modalistic but insufficient without effective work life balance. This study aims to examine the effect of hardiness on burnout with work-life balance as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative correlational approach, this research involved 32 employees at PT. Markoni Mandiri Karawang. The results showed that hardiness negatively affects burnout, and work life balance significantly mediates this relationship. The findings conclude that hardiness influences burnout through its role in enhancing or maintaining employees’ work life balance.
