Abstract

INDONESIA E-commerce (electronic commerce) merupakan istilah yang digunakan oleh perusahaan untuk menjual dan membeli sebuah produk secara online. E-commerce didefinisikan dari beberapa perspektif (Kalikota dan Whinston, 1997) yaitu berdasarkan komunikasi, proses bisnis, layanan, dan online. Tujuan dari rancangan bangun aplikasi ini yaitu membantu pemilik perusahaan dalam mengembangkan bisnisnya dan membantu konsumen dalam memenuhi kebutuhan yang disediakan di Toko Family Collection tanpa harus datang ke lokasi Toko. Aplikasi e-commerce ini menggunakan konsep Business to Consumer yang berarti penjual berhubungan langsung dengan konsumen melalui internet. Aplikasi ini menggunakan algoritma genetika dalam proses pencarian produk. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah aplikasi mobile commerce yang menjadi solusi permasalahan yang ada dan dapat diimplementasikan pada konsep business to consumer. ENGLISH E-commerce (electronic commerce) is a term used by a company to sell and buy online based products. E-commerce is defined from many perspectives (Kalikota and Whinston, 1997) which is based/reliant on communication, business process, service, and online. The purposes of this application are 1) helping the owner of company in business development and 2) helping consumers in meeting the demand of products served at Family Collection store without any efforts to come to the store. E-commerce application uses a Business to Consumer concept. It means the seller directly interacts with the consumers by using internet. This application also uses genetics algorithm in process of searching the products. The result of this research is a mobile commerce application that can be a better solution and it can be implemented in business to consumer concept.
