Abstract

INDONESIA: Perkembangan pesat internet telah mengubah cara berkomunikasi yang memungkinkan interaksi tanpa batas ruang dan waktu melalui media sosial seperti X (Twitter). Timbulnya dampak negatif berupa perselisihan dan agresi verbal online, seperti ujaran kebencian, hate comment, dan bullying. Fenomena langsung ini tampak terjadi di komunitas virtual yaitu di “Komunitas Marah-Marah” di aplikasi X. Komunitas ini menjadi wadah bagi anggotanya untuk mengekspresikan kekesalan atau kemarahan, sering kali dengan menggunakan bahasa kasar dan menyakiti orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Online Disinhibition Effect dan Self-Control terhadap perilaku agresivitas verbal di kalangan anggota “komunitas marah-marah”. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional prediktif untuk melihat pengaruh variabel independent terhadap variabel dependen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pengguna aktif aplikasi X dan anggota “komunitas marah-marah” berusia 21-40 tahun yang pernah membuat atau membalas postingan dalam komunitas tersebut dan dipilih menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 385 orang. Hasil regresi berganda dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai F= 226.453 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 < 0.05 dan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Online disinhibition effect dan Self control memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku Agresivitas verbal serta berkontribusi sebesar 54.2 %. This has given rise to negative impacts in the form of online disputes and verbal aggression, such as hate speech, hate comments, and bullying. The research subjects are active users of the X app and members of the “angry community” aged 21–40 who have posted or responded to posts within the community, selected through accidental sampling with a sample size of 385 respondents. The results of the multiple regression analysis in this study showed that the F-value was 226.453 with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that the Online Disinhibition Effect and Self-Control have an influence on verbal aggression behavior and contribute 54.2% to it.
