Abstract

INDONESIA: Masa remaja merupakan peralihan masa hidup seseorang dari masa anak-anak menuju masa kedewasaan. Pada masa tersebut permasalahan mengenai orientasi masa depan banyak bermunculan. permasalahan orientasi masa depan cenderung terjadi pada siswa dalam menentukan pilihan karir setelah lulus sekolah. Efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial menjadi faktor kebingungan siswa dalam menentukan dan merencanakan masa depan. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap orientasi masa depan pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik probability sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 148 responden dengan kriteria siswa Madrasah Aliyah BPI Baturompe Tasikmalaya berusia 15-19 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), alat ukur House & Kahn, dan Future Orientation Scale (FOS). Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi berganda dengan nilai uji F sebesar 25,391 atau signifikan 0,001. Hasil tersebut menunjukan terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap orientasi masa depan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 25,9%. Agar tingkat orientasi masa depan tinggi dapat dilakukan dengan cara mencari informasi yang luas dan membuat peta pikiran dalam perencanaan masa depan. ENGLISH: Adolescence is a transitional period in a person's life from childhood to adulthood. During this period, many issues regarding future orientation arise. Issues of future orientation tend to occur in students when determining their career choices after graduating from school. Self-efficacy and social support are factors contributing to students' confusion in determining and planning their future. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of self-efficacy and social support on future orientation among students at Madrasah Aliyah. This study employs a quantitative approach using probability sampling techniques. The sample in this study consisted of 148 respondents with the criteria of Madrasah Aliyah BPI Baturompe Tasikmalaya students aged 15-19 years. The measurement tools used in this study were the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), the House & Kahn measurement tool, and the Future Orientation Scale (FOS). The analysis used in this study was multiple regression with an F-test value of 25.391 or significant at 0.001. The results indicate that there is an influence of self-efficacy and social support on future orientation with a coefficient of determination of 25.9%. To achieve a high level of future orientation, it is recommended to seek extensive information and create a mind map in future planning.
