Abstract
Jerami padi merupakan limbah pertanian yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai kompos untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis kompos jerami padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium cepa L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Agroteknologi Kampus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung pada Januari–Oktober 2024 dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor terdiri atas enam perlakuan, yaitu P0 (Tanah + NPK 100%), P1 (kompos jerami padi 10 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%), P2 (20 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%), P3 (30 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%), P4 (40 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%), dan P5 (50 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%) dengan empat ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P2 (kompos jerami padi 20 t ha⁻¹ + NPK 50%) memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot umbi segar, diameter umbi, dan indeks panen. Dosis tersebut direkomendasikan sebagai kombinasi paling efektif untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah.
