Abstract

INDONESIA: Saat ini, teknologi informasi memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satunya adalah di bidang pendidikan, di mana sekolah memiliki peranan krusial dalam membentuk karakter dan kemampuan siswa untuk menciptakan individu yang berakhlak baik dan berpengetahuan luas. SMK Doa Bangsa menyadari betapa pentingnya meningkatkan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa melalui pembinaan kesiswaan untuk mencapai tujuan ini. Mereka berusaha menciptakan siswa yang memiliki kepribadian yang disiplin dan bertanggung jawab dengan menerapkan sistem poin pelanggaran siswa berdasarkan tata tertib sekolah. Sistem poin ini digunakan untuk memberikan sanksi kepada siswa yang melanggar peraturan tata tertib, dengan tingkat sanksi yang disesuaikan dengan jumlah poin yang diperoleh siswa. Namun, pada kenyataannya, pengolahan data dan pemberian sanksi masih dilakukan secara manual, yang mengakibatkan beberapa masalah. Beberapa di antaranya adalah pencatatan pelanggaran yang kurang akurat dan memakan waktu yang relatif lama. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, SMK Doa Bangsa merancang program aplikasi kedisiplinan siswa berbasis Android. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah pencatatan pelanggaran siswa, serta memberikan akses informasi pelanggaran kepada seluruh siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga mengimplementasikan fitur face recognition menggunakan Histogram Oriented Gradient untuk melakukan proses autentikasi guru dan siswa untuk masuk kehalaman utama. Selain itu, metode Weighted Product digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat kedisiplinan antar kelas, sehingga tanggung jawab dalam menjaga disiplin bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab individu, melainkan tanggung jawab bersama seluruh kelas. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan kedisiplinan siswa dapat ditingkatkan secara lebih efisien dan efektif. ENGLISH: Currently, information technology plays a very important role in various aspects of life, including in education. One of them is in the field of education, where schools have a crucial role in shaping the character and ability of students to create individuals who have good morals and are knowledgeable. Doa Bangsa Vocational School realizes how important it is to increase the level of student discipline through student development to achieve this goal. They try to create students who have a disciplined and responsible personality by implementing a student violation point system based on school rules. This point system is used to give sanctions to students who violate the rules and regulations, with the level of sanctions adjusted to the number of points earned by students. However, in reality, data processing and imposition of sanctions are still done manually, which causes several problems. Some of them are recording violations which are less accurate and take a relatively long time. Therefore, to overcome this problem, Doa Bangsa Vocational School designed an Android-based student discipline application program. This application aims to make it easier to record student violations, as well as provide access to information on violations to all students, teachers and parents. In addition, this application also implements the face recognition feature to carry out the teacher verification process in adding violation data. In addition, the Weighted Product method is used to determine the level of discipline between classes, so that the responsibility for maintaining discipline is not only the responsibility of the individual, but also the responsibility of the whole class. With this application, it is hoped that student discipline can be improved more efficiently and effectively.
