Abstract
ENGLISH: The growth of Video on Demand (VoD) platforms has given rise to the phenomenon of binge-watching (i.e., seeing multiple episodes of the same TV series in a row), which is increasingly prevalent among college students and leads to negative consequences such as sleep disturbances, decreased academic productivity, and physical and mental health problems. This study aims to examine the influence of self-control and watching motivation on binge-watching behavior among college students. A quantitative approach with a predictive correlational design was used, involving 326 college students as respondents. The instruments used were the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), Watching TV Series Motives Questionnaire (WTSMQ), and Binge-Watching Engagement & Symptoms Questionnaire (BWESQ). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS. Results indicate that both variables simultaneously influenced binge-watching by 68.1% (p < 0.05); however, only watching motivation showed a significant partial
