Abstract

INDONESIA: Entomologi forensik merupakan studi tentang serangga dan arthropoda yang terkait dengan dugaan peristiwa kriminal tertentu dan estimasi waktu kematian. Kasus kematian tidak wajar dengan kondisi jasad memiliki luka terbuka dan lokasi penemuan jasad yang berbeda perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola kedatangan serangga, kelimpahan serangga, dan pengaruh lingkungan pada pola kedatangan dan kelimpahan serangga di bangkai tikus dengan perlakuan luka benda tajam serta perbedaan lokasi penempatan di air dan permukaan tanah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang dilakukan di Kebun Biologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dengan empat perlakuan yaitu bangkai tikus tanpa luka benda tajam di permukaan tanah, bangkai tikus dengan luka benda tajam di permukaan tanah, bangkai tikus tanpa luka benda tajam di media air dan bangkai tikus dengan luka benda tajam di media air, setiap perlakuan dilakukan empat pengulangan. Faktor lingkungan yang diukur adalah suhu udara, tanah dan air, pH tanah dan air, kelembapan tanah dan udara, serta intensitas cahaya. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola kedatangan serangga dimulai dari serangga nekrofagus, predator, dan omnivora sesuai dengan urutan fase dekomposisi bangkai. Chrysomya sp. hadir pertama kali pada bangkai dengan Indeks Kelimpahan Relatif (IKR) tertinggi pada setiap perlakuan (43,07; 40,98; 55,75; dan 60,16). Adapun pada permukaan tanah suhu udara berpengaruh signifikan (p<0,05) terhadap keragaman serangga yang ditemukan pada bangkai tikus. Berbeda dengan media air kondisi lingkungan tidak mempengaruhi kelimpahan dan keragaman serangga. ENGLISH: Forensic entomology is the study of insects and arthropods associated with suspected criminal events and the estimation of the time of death. Cases of unnatural death where the body has open wounds and the discovery site varies require further investigation. The aim of this research is to determine the insect arrival patterns, insect abundance, and environmental effects on the arrival patterns and abundance of insects on rat carcasses with sharp force injuries, as well as differences in placement location between water and land. The method used in this study was an experimental design using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) conducted at the Biological Garden of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, with four treatments: rat carcasses without sharp force injuries on land, rat carcasses with sharp force injuries on land, rat carcasses without sharp force injuries in water, and rat carcasses with sharp force injuries in water, with each treatment replicated four times. Environmental factors measured included air, soil, and water temperature; soil and water pH; soil and air humidity; and light intensity. Data analysis was carried out using Correlation Test. The results showed that insect arrival patterns began with necrophagous insects, followed by predators and omnivores, in accordance with the sequence of decomposition phases. Chrysomya sp. was the first to arrive on the carcasses and had the highest Relative Abundance Index (RAI) in each treatment (43,07; 40,98; 55,75; and 60,16). On land, air temperature had a significant effect (p<0.05) on the diversity of insects found on rat carcasses, whereas in water, environmental conditions did not affect insect abundance and diversity.
