Abstract

Di abad 21 ini, dunia tidak lepas dari sains dan teknologi. Salah satu keterampilan abad ini yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran adalah Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS). Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan KPS adalah QODE berbasis proyek. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran QODE berbasis proyek pembuatan yogurt terhadap KPS peserta didik pada materi bioteknologi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design dan statis total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, tes KPS, asesmen produk, dan angketrefleksi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji MannWhitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan aktivitas guru sebesar 99,17% dan aktivitas peserta didik 86,18%. Pada kelas kontrol aktivitas guru sebesar 83,19% dengan kategori sangat baik dan aktivitas peserta didik sebesar 77,50% dengan kaetgori baik. Nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar -0,81 (kategori rendah), sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,24 (kategori sedang). Pada kelas eksperimen n-gain tertinggi pada indikator menerapkan konsep, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol pada indikator memprediksi. Hasil uji Mann–Whitney menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Asesmen produk yogurt di kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor untuk kelompok satu sebesar 4,33 dengan kriteria baik, kelompok dua dengan skor 4,66 kriteria baik, dan kelompok tiga dengan skor 5 berkategori sangat baik. Refleksi peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 96,60% dan 97,21% dengan kategori sangat baik, pada kelas kontrol mencapai 89,58% dan 88,54% dengan kaetgori sangat baik. Hasil belum menunjukan pengaruh signifikan terhadap KPS. Manfaat lain model QODE memberikan pengalaman belajar melalui praktikum yogurt, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang sangat baik, dan respons reflektif yang positif. In the 21st century, science and technology are integral to everyday life. One of the essential 21st-century skills that needs to be developed through education is Science Process Skills (SPS). One learning model that can support the development of SPS is project-based QODE (Questioning, Organizing, Doing, and Evaluating). This study aimed to analyze the effect of the project-based QODE learning model through yogurt production on students’ SPS in biotechnology. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design and total sampling. Data were collected using observation sheets, an SPS test, product assessment, and a reflection questionnaire, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Mann–Whitney test. The results showed that learning implementation in the experimental class was categorized as very good, with teacher and student activity scores of 99.17% and 86.18%, respectively. In the control class, teacher activity reached 83.19% (very good), while student activity reached 77.50% (good). The experimental class obtained an N-gain score of −0.81 (low), whereas the control class obtained 0.24 (moderate). The highest N-gain in the experimental class was observed in the applying concepts indicator, while in the control class, it was observed in predicting. The Mann–Whitney test showed no significant difference in SPS between the two classes. The yogurt product assessment in the experimental class yielded scores of 4.33 (good), 4.66 (good), and 5.00 (very good) for Groups 1, 2, and 3, respectively. Student reflections in the experimental class reached 96.60% and 97.21%, while those in the control class reached 89.58% and 88.54%, all categorized as very good. Although the model did not show a significant effect on SPS, QODE provided valuable learning experiences through yogurt production, very good learning implementation, and positive student reflections.
