Abstract
The study aims to describe the understanding and tendency of acceptance of the teachings and practice of Sufism among the Jam'iyyah Persis, especially expressed by several preachers. The method used in this study through a qualitative approach by observation and interview. The result shows that tendency among preachers who are appreciative of the values or teachings of Sufism is Sufism as teachings about morals and efforts to purify and get closer to Allah SWT regardless of the name or term given. In an effort to purify and get closer to God, Persis do not accept the existence of new manhaj. So that the meaning of Sufism in Persis view is taqarub method to Allah SWT.
