Abstract
INDONESIA: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi gambaran dan proses resiliensi pada ibu yang memiliki anak cerebral palsy (CP). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui gambaran dan proses resiliensi ibu dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan pengasuhan anak dengan CP. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek terdiri dari empat ibu yang memiliki anak CP. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi ibu berkembang secara dinamis melalui proses menghadapi dan menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan kondisi anak, mengelola tekanan emosional melalui regulasi diri dan dukungan sosial, menerima serta memaknai kondisi anak secara positif, mempertahankan harapan dan mengembangkan kemampuan diri, serta mengubah pengalaman pengasuhan menjadi pembelajaran dan kontribusi bagi orang lain. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi tidak hanya berupa kemampuan bertahan, tetapi juga proses adaptasi, pengembangan diri, dan pemaknaan positif terhadap pengalaman pengasuhan. ENGLISH: This study explores the resilience and resilience process of mothers who have children with cerebral palsy (CP). The objective of this study was to understand the description and process of maternal resilience in facing various challenges of caring for children with CP. This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects consisted of four mothers who have children with CP. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that maternal resilience develops dynamically through the process of facing and adapting to changes in the child's condition, managing emotional pressure through self-regulation and social support, accepting and positively making meaning of the child's condition, maintaining hope and developing personal abilities, and transforming caregiving experiences into learning and contributions to others. The findings indicate that resilience is not merely the ability to endure difficulties, but also a process of adaptation, personal development, and finding positive meaning in caregiving experiences.
