Abstract
PLTS merupakan pembangkit listrik yang mengubah energi surya menjadi energi listrik. PLTS bersifat intermittent, saat PLTS masuk kedalam sistem maka akan ada pembangkit eksisting yang sebelumnya telah beroperasi bergeser nilai investasinya, baik nilai Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) maupun Pay Back Period (PBP). Pergeseran nilai investasi ini yang disebut dengan intermittent cost. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk memodelkan intermitten cost, dan menghitung dampak pada Biaya Pokok Pembangkitan (BPP) listrik serta pengaruhnya pada tarif listrik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian intermittent cost ini menggunakan economic dispatch. Metode ini menghasilkan dua buah keluaran, pertama perubahan BPP dan yang kedua perubahan fisbilitas pembangkit eksisting. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi diperoleh, pertama ialah dengan masuknya PLTS kedalam sistem mengakibatkan turunnya rata-rata BPP sebesar 91 sen. Kedua perubahan fisibilitas pembangkit eksisting pada PLTGU nilai investasinya menurun, meliputi NPV PLTGU turun sebesar Rp. 35,801,019,664, IRR turun sebesar 2 % dan PBP tetap 5 tahun. Solar Power Plant is a power plant which convert solar energy into electrical energy. Solar Power Plant is intermittent, which means when Solar Power Plant installed into a system, there will be shift of investment value from previous existing power plant, such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), or Pay Back Period (PBP). This shift of invesment value is called intermittent cost. This research is focused on modelling intermitten cost, calculate the effect from electrical generation cost and also influence on electricity rates. The methode which used in this intermittent cost research is economic dispatch method. This method produce two outcome, first is a change in electrical generation cost and second is existing power plant feasibility. The result of this research are, first, installation of solar power plant into a system caused decreasing of average generation cost by 91 cent. Second, change of existing power plant feasibility on combined-cycle power plant (PLTGU) caused decline of investment value, such as NPV PLTGU down Rp 35.801.019.664,- IRR dropped by 2% and the 5 year fixed PBP.
