Abstract

Researcher conducted the research in LDM UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung about the graduates who have already been working in many fields. There are also a large number of LDM Members who have not graduated but have already got career in full or free time. According to the interview, religiosity becomes a strong factor that encourages the members to think about career in the future. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a correlation between religiosity and future orientation in working area. There are 89 subjects in this research. This research uses religiosity and future orientation scale as the instrument. The statistical result processed by computer software with Spearman-Rho correlation finds the correlation coefficient is 0.757. tcount is 8.618 and ttable is 1.658 with df = 82 in 0.05 significance degree. H0 is rejected which means there is a correlation between religiosity and future orientation. The amount of determination coefficient is 0.57 which means the contribution of religiosity towards future orientation is 57 %. It is a positive correlation. The higher the subjects have religiosity, the higher their future orientation is. The lower the subjects have religiosity, the lower their future orientation is. Abstrak Peneliti melakukan riset pada LDM UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung mengenai tingginya presentase alumni yang telah bekerja di berbagai bidang. Selain itu, para anggota yang belum lulus banyak yang telah bekerja baik purna maupun paruh waktu. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terhadap para anggota LDM, religiusitas menjadi faktor yang mendorong anggota LDM dalam memandang karir di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara religiusitas dengan orientasi masa depan dalam bidang pekerjaan pada anggota LDM UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung periode 2015 – 2016. Populasi subjek berjumlah 89 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala religiusitas dan orientasi masa depan dalam bidang pekerjaan. Hasil analisis data menggunakan program analisis komputer dengan teknik korelasi Spearman-Rho, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.757. harga thitung sebesar 8.618 dan ttabel dengan df = 82 pada tingkat signifikansi 0.05 didapat sebesar 1.658 . Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara religiusitas dengan orientasi masa depan dalam bidang pekerjaan. Besarnya koefisien determinasi rs2 = 0.575 yang artinya kontribusi religiusitas terhadap orientasi masa depan dalam bidang pekerjaan adalah sebesar 57 %. Hubungan ini bersifat positif, artinya semakin tinggi religiusitas, maka orientasi masa depan semakin tinggi. sebaliknya, semakin rendah religiusitas, maka orientasi masa depan semakin rendah.
