Abstract
Penelitian ini berawal dari fenomena yang ditemukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Riyadl yang telah mengadakan program kegiatan qiraat, berdasarkan informasi pada saat studi pendahuluan, motivasi santri melaksanakan kegiatan qiraat cukup bagus terlihat dalam proses pembelajaran, santri aktif dan memperhatikan guru namun di sisi lain kemampuan Tahsin mereka sebagai santri masih rendah,. Hal tersebut menunjukan adanya kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyataan. Sehingga timbul permasalahan mengenai motivasi santri mengikuti kegiatan qiraat, dan hubungannya dengan kemampuan tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi santri mengikuti kegiatan qiraat, kemampuan tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an dan hubungan antara motivasi santri mengikuti kegiatan qiraat dengan kemampuan tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertolak pada pemikiran, bahwa baik atau tidaknya kemampuan tahsin dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh motivasi seseorang dalam mengikuti kegiatan qiraat, sehingga dapat diasumsikan dengan hipotesis yaitu semakin tinggi motivasi santri mengikuti kegiatan qiraat, maka semakin tinggi pula kemampuan tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an, begitupun sebaliknya. Metode penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 22 orang santri. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu angket, test, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan logika untuk data kualitatif dan pendekatan statistika untuk data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis parsial perindikator dan analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa: 1) Realitas motivasi santri mengikuti qiraat termasuk kategori cukup, yaitu sebesar 59% yang berada pada rentan 52%-68%. 2) Realitas kemampuan tahsin Al-Qur’an mereka termasuk kategori baik yaitu sebesar 75,6% yang berada pada rentan 68%- 83,99%. 3) Perhitungan korelasi signifikasi sebesar 0,096 (0,096 > 0,05) 5% (α = 0,05), artinya Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan (berarti), Dan tingkat kekuatan hubungan antara variabel motivasi qiraat dengan tahsin santri dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,364 sesuai dengan rentan (0,200–0,399 = Korelasi Rendah). uji regresi linear sederhana didapat persamaan Y = 12,544 + 0,145X dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 11,7% sisanya 88,31% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Hasil motivasi santri mengikuti qiraat bahwa nilai thitung > dari ttabel (1,625>1.325) dan nilai signifikansinya di bawah 0,10 yaitu sebesar 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha ditolak Ho diterima yang menyatakan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan. Dan terdapat pengaruh dengan tingkat korelasi yang lemah antara motivasi santri mengikuti kegiatan qiraat hubungannya dengan kemampuan tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an surat Asy-Syu’ara ayat 191-213. Kata kunci: Motivasi, Qiraat, Tahsin dalam membaca al-Qur’an ABSTRACK This research originated from a phenomenon found at Al-Riyadl Islamic Boarding School which has held a qiraat activity program, based on information during preliminary studies, the motivation of students to carry out qiraat activities is quite good seen in the learning process, students are active and pay attention to teachers but on the other hand Tahsin ability they are still low, as students. This shows a gap between hope and reality. So that problems arise regarding the motivation of students to follow qiraat activities, and their relationship with the ability of the students to read al-Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to describe the motivation of students to follow qiraat activities, the ability to know in reading al-Qur'an and the relationship between the motivation of students to follow qiraat activities with the ability to understand the al-Qur'an. This research is based on the idea that whether or not the ability of tahinsin is influenced one of them by one's motivation in following qiraat activities, so that it can be assumed with the hypothesis that the higher the motivation of students to follow qiraat activities, the higher the ability of students to read the Qur'an , vice versa. This research method is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study amounted to 22 students. Data collection techniques are questionnaire, test, observation, and literature study. Data analysis was carried out with a logical approach to qualitative data and statistical approaches for quantitative data using a partial analysis of indicators and correlation analysis. Based on the results of data processing, it shows that: 1) The reality of students' motivation to follow qiraat is in the sufficient category, which is 59% who are vulnerable at 52% -68%. 2) The reality of their Al-Qur'an's ability to know is in the good category, which is 75.6% in the vulnerable 68% - 83.99%. 3) Calculation of significance correlation of 0.096 (0.096> 0.05) 5% (α = 0.05), meaning that there is no significant (meaningful) relationship, and the level of strength of the relationship between variables of qiraat motivation with santri positions with a correlation coefficient of 0.364 according to vulnerability (0.200–0.399 = Low Correlation). simple linear regression test obtained equation Y = 12.544 + 0.145X and the coefficient of determination is 11.7% the remaining 88.31% is influenced by other variables not examined. The results of santri motivation followed qiraat that the tcount> of t table (1.625> 1.325) and the significance value was below 0.10 which was 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha was rejected by Ho, who accepted that there was no significant relationship. And there is an influence with a weak level of correlation between students' motivation to follow qiraat activities in relation to the ability of tahsin in reading al-Qur'an surat Asy-Syu'ara verses 191-213.
