Abstract
INDONESIA Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh kenyataan bahwa tidak semua lulusan Madrasah Aliyah melanjutkan ke Perguruan Tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan karena faktor utamanya yaitu lulusan madrasah aliyah umumnya berasal dari keluarga menengah ke bawah, yang belum tentu memiliki kemampuan secara finansial untuk melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan signifikansi pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills di Madrasah Aliyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif interaktif yaitu studi mendalam dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data langsung dari orang dalam lingkungan alamiahnya. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, angket dan studi dokumenter dengan instrumen penelitian peneliti, pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan pedoman angket. Setelah diperoleh data kemudian dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Kemudian dilakukan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmatibility. Penelitian ini secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills efektif bagi peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah agar peserta didik dapat survive hidup di masyarakat. Secara rinci dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills efektif bagi peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil angket di ketiga Madrasah Aliyah menunjukkan kemandirian tingkat sedang, (2) Tujuan pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills di Madrasah Aliyah untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik yang tidak melanjutkan ke Perguruan Tinggi agar dapat hidup mandiri di masyarakat, (3) Strategi pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills dilakukan melalui pengorganisasian peserta didik dan urutan kegiatan agar peserta didik lebih terarah sesuai dengan tujuan mereka sekolah di Madrasah Aliyah, (4) Materi pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills meliputi materi pada seluruh mata pelajaran, pengembangan diri dan program keterampilan dapat dilaksanakan secara integratif dan sebagai mata pelajaran tersendiri sehingga dengan materi tersebut tidak berarti mengubah ciri pendidikan Madrasah Aliyah yang mengutamakan pendidikan akademik, (5) Pendidik pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills yaitu guru yang menjalankan proses pembelajaran yang memiliki kemampuan mengintegrasikan general life skills dengan mata pelajaran, didukung oleh orang tua dan masyarakat yang berperan menyelenggarakan pendidikan, (6) Pendidikan kemandirian berbasis life skills dapat diimplementasikan melalui integrasi general life skills dengan mata pelajaran, pengembangan diri, kegiatan rutin, spontan dan keteladalan dan integrasi program vocational secara khusus atau dalam mata pelajaran yang berkaitan, sehingga lulusan dapat memiliki kemandirian spiritual, intelektual, sosial, emosional dan ekonomi, (7) Evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian autentik melalui penilaian keterampilan, penilaian produk, penilaian proyek, penilaian portofolio, penilaian diri, penilaian teman sejawat, ujian tertulis, dan observasi sehingga peserta didik dapat memenuhi standar kompetensi lulusan, (8) Vocational life skills, social skills, dan thinking skills merupakan kecakapan yang dapat menguatkan life skills yang bersifat self awareness peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah. ENGLISH This research was motivated by the fact that not all of Madrasah Aliyah graduates go on to college. This is because the main factor is a graduate of madrasah aliyah generally come from lower middle families, who do not necessarily have the financial ability to go to college. This study aims to discover the significance of self-reliance-based life skills education in Madrasah Aliyah. The method used is interactive qualitative in-depth study using data collection techniques directly from the people in their natural environment. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, questionnaire and documentary study by researchers research instruments, interview guides, observation and questionnaire guidelines. Having obtained the data was analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and verification of data. Then the technique of data validity checking credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmatibility. This study can be generalized that life skills-based education effective independence for students in Madrasah Aliyah so that learners can survive life in the community. In detail can be summarized as follows: (1) Education independence based life skills effectively for students in Madrasah Aliyah, this can be seen from the results of the questionnaire in the third Madrasah Aliyah asserting independence, moderate (2) The educational objectives of independence based life skills in Madrasah Aliyah to facilitate learners who do not proceed to the College in order to live independently in the community, (3) the educational strategy of independence based life skills is done through organizing learners and sequence of activities that the students more directly in accordance with their purpose school in Madrasah Aliyah, ( 4) educational material independence based life skills covering material on all subjects, self-development and programming skills can be implemented in an integrative manner and as a separate subject so that the material is not meant to change the characteristics of education Madrasah Aliyah prioritizing academic education, (5) Educator education independence based life skills that teachers who run the learning process that has the capability of integrating general life skills by subjects, supported by parents and the community are instrumental education, (6) educational independence based life skills can be implemented through the integration of general life skills by subjects , self-development, routine, spontaneous and keteladalan and integration program vocational specifically or in subjects related, so that graduates may have the independence of spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and economic, (7) the evaluation is done through an authentic assessment through skills assessment, product assessment, project assessment, portfolio assessment, self-assessment, assessment peers, written examinations, and observations so that learners can meet competency standards, (8) Vocational life skills, social skills, and thinking skills are skills that can strengthen life skills that is self-awareness of students in Madrasah Aliyah.
