Abstract

INDONESIA Peningkatan produksi kacang hijau terkendala dengan adanya serangan dari ulat grayak. Kehilangan hasil akibat serangan ulat grayak dapat mencapai 80% dengan serangan berat menyebabkan gagal panen. Pestisida nabati buah mahkota dewa bisa menjadi alternatif untuk menekan serangan organisme pengganggu tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak buah mahkota dewa (Phaleria papuena w.) untuk mengendalikan ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura F.) pada tanaman kacang hijau (Phaseolus radiatus L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan di Banjarwangi Kabupaten Garut Provinsi Jawa Barat pada bulan April sampai Juni 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok sederhana dengan 11 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu: perlakuan tanpa ekstrak mahkota dewa (kontrol); ekstrak daging buah mahkota dewa 22,5%; ekstrak daging buah mahkota dewa 25%; ekstrak daging buah mahkota dewa 27,5%; ekstrak daging buah mahkota dewa 30%; ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 20%; ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 22,5 %; ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 25%; ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 27,5%; ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 30%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak buah utuh mahkota dewa 30% berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas larva S. litura, intensitas kerusakan tanaman dan bobot kering biji kacang hijau namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan indeks panen. ENGLISH The increasing of mung beans production are constrained by an attack of armyworms. Loss of results due to attacks of armyworms can reach 80% with severe attacks causing crop failure. Biopesticides of the Mahkota Dewa fruit is an alternative to suppress the attack of organism plants pest. This research aimed to determine the effect of Mahkota Dewa (phaleria papuena w.) extraxt concentration to control the armyworm (Spodoptera litura F.) of crow mung bean plants (Phaseolus radiatus L.). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung also in Banjarwangi Garut Regency, West Java Province from April until June 2018. This study used a simple randomized block design with 11 treatments and 3 replications i.e.: treatment without Mahkota Dewa extract (control); 22.5 % extract of Mahkota Dewa flesh fruit; 25% extract of Mahkota Dewa flesh fruit; 27.5% extract of Mahkota Dewa flesh fruit; 30% extract of Mahkota Dewa flesh fruit; 20% extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit; 22.5% extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit; 25 % extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit; 27.5 % extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit; 30% extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit. The results of the research showed that the treatment of 30% extract of Mahkota Dewa whole fruit extract concentration affected the mortality of S. litura larvae, crop damage intensity and dry weight of mung bean seeds but it did not affect significantly to the plant height and harvest index
