Abstract
INDONESIA Selada merah merupakan sayuran daun yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat. Penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara berkala dapat menyebabkan kerusakan tanah dan menurunnya hasil tanaman. Usaha perbaikan tanah dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian bahan organik yang memanfaatkan limbah sawi sebagai bahan dasar pupuk organik cair. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara konsentrasi dengan cara pemberian pupuk organik cair limbah sawi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2018 di kebun percobaan Universitas Padjadjaran Jatinangor. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi POC limbah sawi (p1 = 10 ml L-1, p2 = 15 ml L-1, p3 = 20 ml L-1, p4 = 25 ml L-1dan p5 = 30 ml L-1), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah cara pemberian POC limbah sawi (m1 = semprot, m2 = kocor dan m3 = kombinasi semprot + kocor), sehingga terdapat 15 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang tiga kali. Uji yang digunakan adalah Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi interaksi antara konsentrasi dengan cara pemberian pupuk organik cair limbah sawi. Konsentrasi POC limbah sawi 15 ml L-1 (p2) dengan cara pemberian kombinasi semprot + kocor (m3) berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun, luas daun, berat segar tanaman dan berat kering tanaman. ENGLISH Red lettuce is one of the leafy vegetables that are in high demand by the consumer. The use of inorganic fertilizers can cause soil degradation and decrease crop yields. Soil quality rehabilitation efforts can be carried out by providing organic materials that utilize mustard waste for liquid organic fertilizer. This research aimed to determine the interaction between concentration and application method of mustard waste liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of red lettuce plants. The research was conducted in May to July 2018 at the experimental garden of Universitas Padjadjaran Jatinangor, by using factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors. The first factor is the POC concentration of mustard waste were p1 = 10 ml L-1, p2 = 15 ml L-1, p3 = 20 ml L-1, p4 = 25 ml L-1 and p5 = 30 ml L-1. The factors of POC mustard waste were m1 = spray, m2 = pour on to soil and m3 = combination of spray + pour on to soil, and 15 combinations replicated three times. Posthoc test used The Duncan Multiple Range Test. The result showed an interaction between the concentration of mustard liquid organic fertilizer. The concentration of 15 ml L-1 (p2) by the combinations (m3) significantly affected the parameters number of leaves, area of leaves, fresh plant weight and dry plant weight.
