Abstract

INDONESIA Beasiswa merupakan pemberian berupa bantuan keuangan yang diberikan kepada perorangan pelajar berprestasi dan kurang mampu yang digunakan demi keberlangsungan pendidikan yang ditempuh. Beasiswa dapat diberikan oleh lembaga pemerintah, perusahaan, yayasan atau instansi-instansi yang lain. Penyaluran beasiswa yang dilakukan oleh SMKN 1 Tambun Utara untuk siswa-siswi menggunakan penentuan sederhana, yaitu dengan mengurutkan nilai rata-rata siswa beserta profil latarbelakang penghasilan orang tua siswa. Sehingga setalah diketahui maka akan diambil siswa yang layak mendapatanya sesuai dengan kuota yang telah ditentukan. Namun bagaimana jika penentuan calon penerima beasiswa menggunakan penerapan metode weighted product serta dalam bentuk sistem aplikasi website. Metode Weighted Product (WP) merupakan salah satu metode penyelesaian pada sistem pendukung keputusan. Metode ini mengevaluasi beberapa alternatif terhadap sekumpulan atribuat atau kriteria, dimana setiap atribut saling tidak bergantung satu dengan yang lainnya. WP menggunakan rating attribute, dimana rating tiap atribut harus dipangkatkan terlebih dahulu dengan atribut bobot yang bersangkutan dengan hasil vector v. Dengan menerapkan metode ke dalam PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) yang merupakan sebuah bahasa scripting yang terpasang pada HTML maka metode dapat diproses dalam sistem website. Karna PHP memiliki sifat yang sama dengan bahasa pemrograman pada umumnya seperti C perl dan PASCAL, sehingga kita bisa melakukan berbagai manipulasi logika didalamnya, hanya bedanya, php berada didalam server, sehingga client/orang lain tidak bisa melihat apa yang terjadi dengan program tersebut. ENGLISH The scholarship is a financial assistance that given ta an achievement and a less fortunate student used for sustainability of education whose persued. It would given by the government institution, companies, foundations or other institutions. The scholarship distribution for the students of north tambun vocational high school (SMKN 1 Tambun Utara) is using simple determination. The process are: sort the average score of the student with the profile of income background of their parants. After it’s known. Then got the students whese feasible to get determined the scholarship corresponding to the quota. But, if the determination for candidates of getting scholarship used weighted product method and website application system, how would we determine it. Weighted product method (WP) is one of a method used to complete in decision support system. This method evaluated some alternatives in attributes and criterias where each attribute doesn’t depend on each other. Wp used ratting attribute, which a rating has to removed it’s weight attribute with the result of vector V. Weighted product method (WP) applied to the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) which is a scripting language which installed in HTML then this method would processed in website system. Because of PHP has same characteristic with the general programming language as C Perl and Pascal. We colud do many logic manipulation in there. The difference is PHP is in the server so other people or client couldn’t see what happened in that programme.
