Abstract

INDONESIA: Dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya fakta nilai moral yang rendah pada peserta didik, seperti tawuran, geng motor, dan lain-lain, mengharuskan para pendidik untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Dalam hal ini diperlukan pendidikan karakter yang mengembangkan generasi baru yang memiliki kepribadian sehat dengan nalar, sikap dan perilaku bermoral. Yaitu: generasi yang memiliki living values (nilai-nilai keutamaan dalam hidup), rasa percaya diri, kreatif, cerdas, jujur, punya etos membaca, serta mampu mengintegrasikan kecerdasan intelektual (intelligent quotient), kecerdasan emosional (emotional quotient), dan kecerdasan spiritual (spiritual quotient). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, penerapan, dan hasil penerapan pembelajaran PAI yang menggunakan strategi outdoor learning di SD Sains Islam Al-Farabi Kabupaten Cirebon. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dan metode deskriptif analitis, berharap penelitian ini dapat mengungkap keberhasilan pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran PAI yang menggunakan strategi outdoor learning. Teknik pegumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data pada penelitian ini adalah perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan dan keajegan, triangulasi, analisis kasus negatif, menggunakan bahan referensi, dan menggunakan member check. Hasilnya adalah: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran PAI dengan strategi outdoor learning untuk membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan disusun oleh seorang guru PAI yang di dalamnya memuat langkah-langkah strategi outdoor learning secara detil yang dituangkan dalam RPP; (2) guru PAI menerapkan pembelajaran di luar ruangan kelas sesuai perencanaan sehingga peserta didik terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran; (3) hasilnya, berdasarkan lembar pengamatan sikap, peserta didik mampu bersikap peduli terhadap lingkungan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran; (4) faktor pendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran tersebut adalah terdapatnya program sekolah yang dapat meminimalisir peserta didik melakukan hal-hal yang tidak berkarakter, dan faktor penghambatnya adalah terdapat kekurangan pada sarana dan prasarana sekolah sehingga untuk penerapan strategi outdoor learning terbatas hanya pada waktu tertentu saja karena keterbatasan tempat. ENGLISH: Against the background of the many facts that low moral values on students, such as brawls, motorcycle gangs, etc., require educators to further improve the quality of education. In this case character education is needed which develops a new generation that has a healthy personality with reason, moral attitude and behavior. Namely: a generation that has living values (values of virtue in life), self-confidence, creative, intelligent, honest, has an ethos of reading, and is able to integrate intellectual intelligence (intelligent quotient), emotional intelligence (emotional quotient), and spiritual intelligence (spiritual quotient). This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and results of the application of PAI learning using outdoor learning strategies at SD Al-Farabi Islamic Science Cirebon District. By using a naturalistic qualitative approach and analytical descriptive method, hoping that this research can reveal the success of character education through learning PAI using outdoor learning strategies. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data in this study is the extension of observation, increasing perseverance and regularity, triangulation, negative case analysis, using reference materials, and using member check. The results are: (1) PAI learning planning with outdoor learning strategies to shape the character of environmental care compiled by a PAI teacher in which the steps for outdoor learning strategies are detailed in the RPP; (2) PAI teachers apply classroom learning according to planning so that students are actively involved in learning; (3) the results, based on the attitude observation sheet, students are able to care about the environment in accordance with the learning objectives; (4) the supporting factors for the success of learning are the existence of school programs that can minimize students doing things that are not characterized, and the inhibiting factor is there are shortcomings in school facilities and infrastructure so that the application of outdoor learning strategies is limited to certain times due the place.
