Abstract
Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method of decision-making in the determination any alternative alternative priorities. Application of AHP is to begin by making hierarchical structure of the problem under study. Pair-wise comparison matrix is used to forming a correlation in the structure. In this matrix, the weight of each criteriondetermined by the normalization of the geometric mean of respondents' opinions. normalization The maximum eigen value and eigen vectors will be obtained from this matrix. in the process perform hierarchical weighting factor or factors of evaluation, the consistency test should be done (CR <0100). Application of AHP in this research is to help determine which majors are suitable for a student. By specifying the appropriate criteria of selection it is expected that the results may support the development students. The output generated by this model is suitable reports for students majoring in question. Nevertheless, this model only assist decision-making. The final decision remains to be determined by the user based on further considerations.
