Abstract

INDONESIA Sintesis zeolit HY dengan menggunakan sumber silika rumput gajah. Dilakukan dengan zeolit NaY disintesis menjadi zeolit HY meggunakan metode pertukan ion dengan ammonium nitrat. Zeolit Na-Y yang telah berhasil disintesis menjadi Zeolit H-Y selanjutnya di analisis dengan Karakterisasi X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) untuk menentukan kandungan zeolite dalam sampel. Untuk mengukur luas permukaan menggunakan instrumentasi BET. Sementara untuk mengetahui distribusi pori menggunakan instrumentasi BJH. Sedangkan morfologi mesophori dianalisis dengan menggunakan instrumentasi Transmission Electron Micrograph (TEM). Dari hasil XRD didapat 2 Theta identik pada 2θ = 6.38o, 15.72o, 23.66o. Hasil dari karakterisasi BET didapatkan luas permukaan Pori yang didapatkan sebesar 32.065 m2/g dan dari karakterisasi BJH dapat diketahui Diameter pori sebesar 31.015 nm. Sementara itu ukuran partikel juga dapat dikonfirmasi dari persamaan scharerr dari karakterisasi XRD yakni sebesar 55,4616 nm. ENGLISH Synthesis of zeolite HY by using a source of silica elephant grass. It is done with zeolite NaY synthesized into HY zeolite using ion hatching method with ammonium nitrate. Zeolite Na-Y which has been synthesized into Zeolite HY is then analyzed by X-Ray diffraction Characterization (XRD) to determine the zeolite content in the sample, to measure the surface area by BET method, to determine the pore distribution with the BJH method, and mesophori morphology with Transmission Electron Micrograph (TEM). From the XRD results, there are 2 identical Theta at 2θ = 6.38o, 15.72o, 23.66o. The results of BET characterization showed that the Pori surface area obtained was 32,065 m2 / g and from BJH characterization it could be seen that the pore size was 38,329 nm. Meanwhile particle size can also be confirmed from TEM characterization, which is 73.795 nm for the smallest particles and 103.093 nm for the largest particles.
