Abstract

INDONESIA Tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah menentukan analisis cluster untuk data panel dengan struktur data multivariabel. Pendekatan metode Ward dipilih sebagai metode dalam analisis cluster teknik hierarki. Metode Ward adalah metode yang berdasarkan pada Sum Square Error (SSE) dengan ukuran kehomogenan antara dua objek berdasarkan pada jumlah kuadrat kesalahan yang paling minimal. Ukuran kemiripan yang digunakan adalah jarak Euclidean kuadrat. Metode Ward digunakan untuk meminimalkan variasi antar objek yang ada dalam satu cluster dan memaksimalkan variasi dengan objek yang ada dalam cluster lain. Langkah-langkah analisis diuraikan dalam pembahasan skripsi ini. Penerapan metode menggunakan data angka partisipasi kasar (APK) pendidikan di Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2011-2014. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa pengelompokkan pada data APK pendidikan di Jawa Barat tahun 2011-2014 dengan menggunakan metode Ward menghasilkan tiga cluster. Cluster pertama terdiri dari sepuluh daerah, APK untuk SMA dan Perguruan tinggi pada cluster berada dibawah rata-rata APK di Jawa Barat. Cluster kedua terdiri dari sembilan daerah, berbeda dengan cluster pertama APK untuk SMA dan Perguruan tinggi pada cluster ini berada pada rata-rata APK di Jawa Barat sedangkan cluster ketiga terdiri dari tujuh daerah, APK untuk SMA dan Perguruan tinggi pada cluster ini berada diatas rata-rata APK di Jawa Barat. ENGLISH The aim of this study is to determine the cluster analysis for panel data with data structures multivariable. The ward’s method chosen as a method in cluster analysis of engineering. Ward method is a method that is based on the sum square error (SSE) with the size of homogeneity between two objects based on the sum of the squares of the most minimal errors. Similarity measure used is the Euclidean distance squared. Ward method used to minimize variations between objects that exist in a single cluster and maximize variation with existing objects in other clusters. The measures analysis outlined in this discussion of the study. The applicability of method used gross enrollment rate (GER) education data in the province of west java 2011-2014. The results of case studies show that enrollment data grouping on education in West Java in 2011-2014 using the method of Ward yielded three clusters. The first cluster consists of ten area, APK for high school and college in the cluster is below the average GER in West Java. The second cluster consists of nine area, different from the first cluster GER for high school and college in this cluster are in the average GER in West Java while the third cluster consists of seven area, GER for high school and college in this cluster is above the mean GER average in West Java.
