Abstract
This study aims to utilize the liquid waste of tofu and leri water as a nutritional enhancer for the growth of yellow oyster mushroom (Pleurotus citrinopileatus) and identification of secondary metabolites contained in yellow oyster mushroom. The research method used was experimental method using complete randomized design with 4 treatments and repeated 6 times. The types of nutritional composition used in this experiment were potato medium (PDA / PDB) (100%), potato medium (50%) + water leri (50%), potato media (50%) + tofu liquid waste (50%), and potato media (50%) + water leri (25%) + ofu liquid waste (25%). The parameters observed were the diameter of mycelia, miselia biomass, and phytochemical test. The results showed that the addition of various nutritional composition gave effect on the resulting mycelial diameter there was a significant difference from the media that was not given the addition of nutrients. The highest growth rate was shown by PDA media 50% with 25% water leri and 25% ofu liquid waste. Phytochemical results of secondary metabolites identified yellow fungi were alkaloids, tannins and saponins. However, tannins are not detected in potato media (50%) + liquid tofu waste (50%) because of the influence of tofu liquid waste content and other metabolite or toxic production by yellow oyster fungus so that tannins are undetectable. While hydroquinone phenol compounds were not detected in all samples.
