Abstract

INDONESIA : Novel adalah salah satu genre karya sastra terkenal di masyarakat. Biasanya dibuat oleh penulis berdasarkan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penulis bisa menganalisa tentang cinta dalam novel ini, karena bisa bersifat refleksif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini membahas pendekatan mimesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena data tersebut merupakan konsep cinta dari novel trilogi The Hunger Game. Untuk menentukan penelitiannya, analisis terbagi menjadi dua pernyataan masalah, yaitu 1. Bagaimana konsep cinta yang ditemukan dalam novel trilogi The Hunger Games? 2. Apa kategori cinta dalam novel trilogi Hunger Games? Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Robert Sternberg untuk memecahkan pertanyaan penelitian. Jadi, bisa dianalisis dan dikelompokkan menjadi tiga konsep yaitu keintiman, gairah, komponen keputusan / komitmen, dan delapan bentuk cinta, yaitu nonlove, sukai, cinta yang tergila-gila, cinta kosong, cinta romantis, cinta pendamping, cinta yang tidak masuk akal, cinta yang sempurna. Oleh teori segitiga cinta. Sebuah novel mengungkapkan beberapa aspek cinta dan eksistensi manusia karena novel berbicara tentang aktivitas manusia dan menggambarkan apa yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Jadi, konsep cinta itu penting untuk dianalisis karena setiap orang bisa digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sementara salah satu poin yang kuat dalam "The Hunger Games" terutama adalah kisah cinta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa The Hunger Games dibangun oleh cinta yang dialami oleh karakter cinta yang dapat dikaitkan dengan emosi dalam novel, dan cinta adalah emosi dasar manusia yang telah didefinisikan dengan berbagai cara. Kesimpulannya, diharapkan bahwa penelitian ini akan bermanfaat bagi peneliti masa depan yang tertarik untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang konsep cinta dalam novel trilogi The Hunger Games. ENGLISH : Novel is one genre of famous kinds of literary work in society. It is usually made by an author based on daily life. The author can analyze about love in this novel, because it can be reflexive of daily life. This research deals with the mimesis approach. This study has used descriptive qualitative because the data were in the concept of love of The Hunger Game trilogy novel. To specify the research, the analysis is divided into two statements of problems, namely 1. How are the concepts of love found in The Hunger Games trilogy novel? 2. What is category of love in The Hunger Games trilogy novel? This research has used Robert Sternberg’s Theory to solve the questions of the research. So, it can be analyzed and categories into three concepts namely, intimacy, passion, decision/commitment component, and eight forms of love, namely nonlove, liking, infatuated love, empty love, romantic love, companionate love, fatuous love, consummate love by the triangular of love theory. A novel expresses some aspects of human’s love and existence because novel talks about human activities and describes what happened in surrounding. So, the concept of love is important to analyze because everyone can used in everyday life, while one of the strong points of “The Hunger Games” that is primarily a love story. The result of this research showed that The Hunger Games constructed by the love which experienced by the characters love which can be linked with emotion in novel, and love is a basic human emotion it has been defined in many different ways. In conclusion, it was expected that this research will be useful for future researcher who are interested in studying more about the concept of love in The Hunger Games trilogy novel.
