Abstract

INDONESIA Bawang putih merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura di Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Meski demikian, produksi bawang putih di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui respon penggunaan pupuk NPK dan konsorsium mikroba terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang putih. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran Lembang pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai bulan Februari 2019. Penelitian eksperimental ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang telah dilakukan yaitu tanpa konsorsium mikroba + tanpa pupuk NPK (kontrol negatif), tanpa konsorsium mikroba + pupuk NPK 50%, tanpa konsorsium mikroba + pupuk NPK 100%, konsorsium mikroba + NPK 0%, konsorsium mikroba + NPK 50% dan konsorsium mikroba + NPK 100%. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Tukey (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belum terdapat respon yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang putih. Namun berdasarkan data hasil pengamatan respon pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun terbaik ditunjukkan oleh pemupukan konsorsium mikroba dan pupuk NPK dengan dosis 50% dari rekomendasi, dan pertumbuhan tinggi batang semu terbaik ditunjukkan oleh konsorsium mikroba tanpa pupuk NPK. Sedangkan respon perlakuan konsorsium mikroba tanpa pupuk NPK memberikan hasil terbaik pada semua hasil produksi. ENGLISH Garlic is one of the horticultural commodities in Indonesia that has high economic value. However, garlic production in Indonesia are relatively low. The purpose of this research is to study the growth response and production of garlic on NPK fertilizer and microbial consortium used. This research was conducted at the experimental field of vegetable crops research institute (Balitsa) Lembang in October 2018 until February 2019. This research was an experimental study using ramdomized block design consisting of 6 studies and 3 replications. The treatments of this experiment are without microbial consortium + without NPK fertilizer (negative control), without microbial consortium + 50% NPK fertilizer, without microbial consortium + 100% NPK fertilizer, microbial consortium + NPK 0%, microbial consortium + NPK 50% and consortium microbial + NPK 100%. The results showed that there was no significant response to the growth and production of garlic. However, based on observational data on the growth response of plant height and number of leaves, the best is shown by fertilizing microbial consortium and NPK fertilizer with a dose of 50% of the recommendations, and the best growth of leaf sheath length showed by microbial consortium without NPK fertilizer. Whereas the treatment response of microbial consortium without NPK fertilizer gave the best results on all production products
