Abstract

This paper describes an application of classroom technology in support of teaching through the use of example and active learning techniques. Student learning and the depth of student's knowledge increase when active learning methods are employed in classroom. Active learning strategies are discussed in computer algorithm course work. The role of technology was to integrated activities into the lecture so that the students have the opportunity to work with concrete examples, while the instructor can collect and review student work in real time, incorporating selected student answer into the discussion.
