Abstract

INDONESIA : Ternak ruminansia di Indonesia mengalami kekurangan pakan berkualitas secara berkelanjutan dalam jumlah yang cukup. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk menyediakan pakan yang memadai pengganti hijauan konvensional ialah limbah daun kayu putih. Potensi limbah daun kayu putih masih perlu ditingkatkan karena nilai nutrisi serta kecernaan yang masih kurang. Proses fermentasi dengan bantuan kapang Aspergillus chevalieri diketahui dapat meningkatkan kandungan nutrisi dalam bahan pakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai kecernaan bahan dengan campuran limbah daun kayu putih secara in vitro. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan perlakuan berdasarkan perbedaan komposisi, kemudian diuji statistik dengan ANOVA dengan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil menunjukkan semua perlakuan menunjukkan perbedaan nyata satu dengan lainnya ditandai dengan adanya perbedaan variabel variasi. Tingkat kecernaan bahan kering dipengaruhi oleh komposisi fermentasi kapang Sedangkan tingkat kecernaan bahan organik berhubungan dengan interaksi antara mikroba rumen. Hasil nilai kecernaan bahan kering paling baik adalah R4 (46,11%) dengan komposisi dan (50% Limbah Daun Kayu Putih LDKP fermentasi + 25% Rumput Lapang + 25% konsentrat) dan Nilai bahan organik paling baik adalah R5 (35,37%) dengan komposisi (25% Limbah Daun Kayu Putih (LDKP) fermentasi + 25% Rumput Lapang + 50% konsentrat) .   ENGLISH : Ruminants in Indonesia suffer from a lack of sustainable quality feed in sufficient quantities. One alternative that can be used to provide adequate feed substitutes for conventional forage is cajuput leaf waste. Potential of cajuput leaf waste still needs to be improved because of the nutritional value and digestibility that is still lacking. The fermentation process with the help of Aspergillus chevalieri mold is known to increase the nutrient content in feed ingredients. The purpose of this study was to determine the digestibility of materials with a mixture of cajuput leaf waste in vitro. The experimental design used a randomized complete design with five treatments and three treatment replications based on differences in composition, then statistically tested with ANOVA with Duncan's continued test. The results showed that all treatments showed significant differences from one another, marked by differences in variation variables. Digestion level of dry matter is influenced by the composition of mold fermentation. While the digestibility of organic matter is related to the interaction between rumen microbes. The best digestibility value of dry matter is R4 (46.11%) with composition and (50% LDKP cajuput Waste fermentation + 25% Field Grass + 25% concentrate) and the best value of organic matter is R5 (35.37% ) with a composition (25% Cajuput Leaf Waste (LDKP) fermentation + 25% Field Grass + 50% concentrate).
