Abstract

INDONESIA Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar kognitif seebagian siswa di kelas IV MI Ibrahim Ulul Azmi pada pembelajaran tematik yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Hal ini dapat terjadi karena proses pembelajaran yang jarang menggunakan medel pembelajaran dan selalu menggunakan metode konvensional yang tidak melibatkan siswa secara aktif pada proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan tidak cocok dengan karakteristik siswa yang berbeda sehingga hasil belajar kognitif siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas IV MI Ibrahim Ulul Azmi. 2) penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning pada pembelajaran tematik tema VI “cita-citaku”. 3) Hasil belajar kognitif siswa sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran project based learning pada pembelajaran tematik tema VI “cita-citaku” di kelas IV MI Ibrahim Ulul Azmi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa ditentukan oleh proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat, termasuk model pembelajaran Project Based Learing. Berdasarkan asumsi tersebut, maka hipotesis yang dianjurkan adalah pengguanaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learing diduga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, yang pada masing-masing siklusnya terdiri dari 2 tindakan, setiap tindakan terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes, dengan instrument seperti RPP, lembar observasi kegiatan siswa dan guru, serta lembar evaluasi. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan statistik dan data kualitatif menggunakan logika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning masih rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yang diperolehnya yaitu : 59,13 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikalnya hanya 26,66%. Proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 65% dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 80,73. begitu juga dengan aktivitas guru pada siklus 1 diperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 49,75%dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan rata-rata persentase aktivitas guru 86,65%. Adapun hasil belajar siswa sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran project based learning pada siklus 1 diperoleh nilai rata-rata 70,2 dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,3. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. ENGLISH This research is in the background of the cognitive learning outcomoes of students in 4th grade MI Ibrahim Ulul Azmi in the thematic learning who have not reached the minimum completeness criteria. This can occur because the learning process rarely uses learning models and always uss conventional methods that do not actively involve students in the learning process. The method used does not match the characteristics of different students, so that students cognitive learning outcomes are low. The purpose of this study to find out : 1) cognitive learning outcomes of students before using the project based learning in class IV MI Ibrahim ulul azmi. 2) the application of the project based learning learning model on theme VI learning thematic “my ideals”. 3) cognitive learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the project based learning model in the theme thematic VI theme of the thematic learning “in the fourth grade of MI Ibrahim Ulul Azmi. This research is based on the thought that students’ cognitive learning outcomes are the use of appropriateblearning models. Project based learning model based on these assumptions, the recommended hypothesis is the use of project based learning models allegedlyable to improve cognitive learning outcomes determined by learning process of student. The study uses the class action research method(CAR). The design of this study consists of 2 cycle, which in each cycle consist of 2 actions, each action consist of 4 the implementation of observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and testing of instrument such as RPP, , students and teacher activity observation sheets, and evaluation sheets. Quantitative data analysis using a stastistical approach and qualitative data using logic based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that studentscognitive larning outcomes before using project based learning learning models were still low. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cognitive learning outcomes of students before using the project based larning model were still low. This can be seen from the average value obtained, which is 59,13 and the completeness of classical learning iis only 26,66%. The learing process by using the learning is well implemented. This ca be sees from the average value of the percentage of student activity in the first cycle of 65%and increased in the second cycle with an average value of the percentage value of 80.73 as well as the activity of the teacher in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of teacher activity 86,65%. There are also student learning outcomes after the implementation of project based learning models in cycle 1. Obtain average value of 70,2 and increases in the second cycle with an average value of 86,3 so that it can be cocluded that by increasing students cognitive learning outcomes, they are 59,13 and mastery learning using proect based learning learning models can.
