Abstract

INDONESIA : Gaya kepimpinan kepala madrasah ditentukan oleh kepribadian dan karakter dari seorang pemimpin dan menentukan kepribadian peserta didik selama berjalannya proses pendidikan. Karakter religius adalah karakter yang perlu dikuatkan salah satunya dengan cara penanaman karakter religius. Terdapat fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti yaitu kepala Madrasah Aliyah Ar-Raudloh telah melaksanakan beberapa program penanaman karakter religius yang terbilang madrasah ini cukup muda yakni berdiri pada tahun 2014. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, 1) latar alamiah MA Ar-Raudloh; 2) mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala MA Ar-Raudloh dalam menanamkan karakter religius peserta didik; 3) mengetahui program penanaman karakter religius yang telah dijalankan; 4) mengetahui hasil dari program penanaman karakter religius. Penelitian ini berangkat dari pemikiran bahwa kepemimpinan spiritual menurut Fry (2005) dapat terlaksana dengan baik apabila memiliki tiga dimensi. Pertama, unsurnya adalah nilai, sikap, dan perilaku pemimpin didalamnya terdapat visi, keyakinan, dan cinta altruistik. Kedua, adalah spiritual survival didalamnya terdapat keterpanggilan dan keanggotaan. Ketiga, adalah komitmen organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan menyalin dokumen. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis dengan penafsiran data. Uji absah data dilakukan dengan ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, analisis kasus negatif, kecukupan referensi, pengecekan anggota serta uraian rinci. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam Menanamkan Karakter Religius di Madrasah Aliyah Ar-Raudloh adalah pertama, sejalan dengan visi madrasah yaitu adanya program madrasah dalam meningkatkan karakter religius dan program keahlian seperti multimedia, tata busana dan usahawan. Memiliki keyakinan yang kuat terlihat dari program madrasah yang terlaksana secara baik meski baru meluluskan dua alumni. Kedua, rasa keterpanggilan dan keanggotaan dapat tercerminkan dari seluruh lapisan madrasah yang mengikuti pula program penanaman karakter layaknya peserta didik. Ketiga, komitmen organisasi yaitu dapat menerima sanksi atas pelanggaran yang dilakukan baik itu oleh peserta didik maupun seluruh staf madrasah. ENGLISH : The style of leadership of the head of madrasa is determined by the personality and character of a leader and it determines the personality of the students during the course of the educational process. Religious character is a character that needs to be strengthened because all the characters contained in human beings are based on religious character first, one of them is by planting religious characters through character-planting programs that are initiated by the principal's spiritual leadership style. There is an interesting phenomenon to examine, namely the head of Madrasah Aliyah Ar-Raudloh that has implemented a number of religious character planting programs which are fairly young, which was established in 2014. The purpose of this study is to find out, 1) the natural background of MA Ar-Raudloh; 2) knowing the leadership style of the head of MA Ar-Raudloh in instilling the religious character of students; 3) knowing the program for planting religious characters that have been carried out; 4) knowing the results of the program of planting religious characters. Spiritual leadership according to Fry (2005) can be implemented well if it has three dimensions. First, the elements are the values, attitudes, and behavior of leaders in which there is vision, belief, and altruistic love. Second, spiritual survival includes calling and membership. Third, is organizational commitment. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviewing, observing, and copying documents. Whereas in analyzing the data used is analysis with data interpretation. Validation of data was carried out with persistence of observation, triangulation, peer examination, negative case analysis, adequacy of references, member checking and detailed descriptions. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the leadership of the head of madrasa in embedding religious characters in madrasa Aliyah Ar-Raudloh is a spiritual leadership style seen from several programs implemented. The program starts from familiarizing students with prayers in congregation, murajaah Al-Quran, Mufrodat learning, fasting Monday and Thursday and new programs that have been implemented, namely Mabit, Baksos and pesantren kilat. The results of this character planting can be seen from changes to students such as being accustomed to praying in congregation, diligently reading the Koran, dressing according to the rules and always being disciplined.
