Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya beberapa permasalahan pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Jawa Barat yang Antara lain: a) belum optimalnya hasil pekerjaan pegawai; b) masih ada beberapa pegawai yang terlambat; dan c) tidak hadir dalam bekerja dan dalam prestasi kerja masih belum memperhatikan beban atau jam kerja. sehingga peneliti merasa diperlukan penelitian tentang penilaian prestasi kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Untuk penilaian prestasi kerja, penulis menggunakan teori dari Hasibuan yaitu kecakapan, kedisiplinan, dan tanggungjawab. Sedangkan untuk kinerja pegawai, penulis menggunakan teori A. A. Anwar Prabu Mangkunegara yaitu kualitas, kunatitas dan, tanggungjawab yang diberikan. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode penelitian asosiatif karena metode penelitian asosiatif bertujuan untuk mencari kaitan satu varabel yang satu dengan variabel yang lainserta bagaimana tingkat kekuatan hubungannya, teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan dan angket. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dari 123 populasi setelah dihitung menjadi 55 responden. Teknik pengolahan datanya berupa korelasi dan regresi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh t hitung sebesar 9,2089707, sementara itu t dari tabel distribusi-t pada taraf signifikasi  = 0,05 uji dua pihak dan dk = n – 2= 55-2 = 53 diperoleh t tabel = 2,004879275. Oleh karena nilai t hitung > t tabel ( 9,2089707 2,004879275 ) maka Ho ditolak, artinya secara parsial ada pengaruh signifikan antara penilaian prestasi kerja dengan kinerja pegawai. Dengan persentase sumbangan pengaruh variabel independen (penilaian prestasi kerja) terhadap variabel dependen (kinerja pegawai) yang telah dihitung sebesar 47,10% masuk dalam kriteria pengaruh yang cukup tinggi, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 52,90% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain yang belum diteliti oleh peneliti. For performance appraisal, the author uses the theory of Hasibuan is skills, discipline, and responsibility. As for the performance of an employee, the author uses the theory of AA Anwar King Mangkunegara namely quality, quantities and, given responsibility. The research method used is associative research methods for associative research methods aim to find connection with each one varabel lainserta how variable levels of relationship strength, technique of data collection through literature study and a questionnaire. The sampling technique using sampling techniques using Slovin formula, after the population of 123 was calculated to be 55 respondents. Data processing techniques such as correlation and regression. Based on research conducted obtained t count of 9.2089707, while the t-t distribution table at  = 0.05 significance level test of the two parties and df = n - 2 = 55-2 = 53 obtained t table = 2.004879275 . Since the value of t count> t table (9.2089707 2.004879275) then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant effect partially between the performance appraisal with the employee's performance. With the influence of the percentage contribution of the independent variable (performance appraisal) on the dependent variable (employee performance) that have been computed at 47.10% in the criteria that influence is quite high, while the remaining 52.90% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied by researchers .
