Abstract

ENGLISH Perlocutionary act is a kind of speech act that deals with the presence of other people’s speech by non-linguistic attitudes and language from him. In this act, there are context and response given by the participant which becomes the source of speech act itself. This research focuses on the expression from perlocutionary act expressed by the main character. The statements of problem are 1) The perlocutionary act context that is found from the expression of Sausage Party’s main character. 2) The response given by listeners on the perlocutionary act expressed by the main character.This research used pragmatic approach and qualitative method. The data are collected from reading the internet sources and watching the Sausage Party’s film five times. Besides, the data is analyzed by Yule’s theory that fulfills the concepts and logical principles of research. The research is analyzed by some steps: searching, uploading, sorting, analyzing, and concluding. According to the result, the researcher concluded that this research is purposed to understand the context and response from perlocutionary act which is represented by the main character of Sausage Party’s film. There are seventeen welcoming data and twenty nine successeed response data which are found by the research from thirthy seven perlocutionary act data. INDONESIA Perlokusi adalah tindak tutur yang berkenaan dengan adanya ucapan orang lain sehubungan dengan sikap dan perilaku non linguistik dari orang lain. Dalam tindak tutur perlokusi terdapat konteks dan respon yang diberikan oleh pertisipan yang merupakan sumber dari tindak tutur itu sendiri. Fokus penelitian ini adalah ekspresi dari perlokusi yang diungkapkan oleh pemeran utama. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Konteks tindak tutur perlokusi yang ditemukan pada ungkapan pemeran utama dalam film Sausage Party’s. 2) Respon yang diberikan oleh pendengar terhadap tindak tutur perlokusi yang di ungkapkan pemeran utama dalam film Sausage Party’s. Di dalam skripsi ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik dan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari membaca di internet dan menonton film Sausage Party’s sebanyak lima kali. Sementara itu, data juga di analisis dengan menggunakan teori Yule yang memenuhi konsep dan prinsip-prinsip logis penelitian. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan beberapa tahap sebagai berikut: mencari, mengunggah, mengurutkan, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konteks dan respon tindak tutur perlokusi yang diwakili oleh pemeran utama pada film Sausage Party’s. Dari tiga puluh tujuh data perlokusi terdapat tujuh belas data welcoming dan dua puluh sembilan data respon successeed yang ditemukan oleh peneliti.
