Abstract

ENGLISH : Anxiety in dealing with muhadharah is often accepted by most students. Factors in the presence of differences in individuals with other individuals can be different. High or low individual confidence over their ability to complete tasks (self efficacy) can be a factor that influences the level of success. Likewise with the attitude of students facing muhadharah, whether to avoid it or deal with it, will also argue when discussing it. This research is a correlational study that aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and self handicapping with difficulties in muhadharah discussions. The sample of this study tested 122 students of Al Furqon Singapant Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of the analysis found related to the relationship between self-efficacy and self-handicapping with difficulties in dealing with muhadharah, while partial, related to the negative relationship between self-efficacy by renewing, and related to the relationship between self-handicapping with existing. INDONESIA : Kecemasan dalam menghadapi muhadharah kerap kali dirasakan oleh sebagian santri. Faktor hadirnya kecemasan dalam individu dengan individu lainnya dapat berbeda. Tinggi rendahnya keyakinan individu atas kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan tugas (self efficacy) dapat menjadi faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat kecemasan. Begitupun dengan sikap santri menghadapi muhadharah, apakah menghindarinya atau justru menghadapinya, juga akan berpengaruh pada kecemasannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy dan self handicapping dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi muhadharah. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 122 orang santri Pondok Pesantren Al Furqon Singaparna Tasikmalaya. Berdasarkan hasil analisa inferensial ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan secara bersamaan antara self efficacy dan self handicapping dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi muhadharah,sedangkan secara parsial, terdapat hubungan negatif antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan, dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara self handicapping dengan kecemasan.
