Abstract

ENGLISH On the youtube site, there is a comment section below that can be used by youtube users to respond the videos. This comment column is the object of the research, especially Screamfest youtube channel. The researcher only took derivational’s type to be the data research. The derivational itself can be defined as a process of word formation through the addition of the affixes. Based on the background of problem, the statement of problem is formulated into two questions: (1) What derivational affixes found in the comment column of Screamfest youtube channel. (2) How the morphological process of derivational affixes in the comment column of Screamfest youtube channel. To answer the statement of problem, the researcher used morphological approach based on the theory from Plag (2002) which is used to know the types of derivational affixes. This research used a qualitative method to analyzing the data. The data was collected by coding technique to sort out the data that related to derivational affixes. In analyzing, it is found that: firstly, there are derivational affixes found in comment column of Screamfest youtube channel, such the verbal suffix -ize, nominal suffixes -al, -ance, -er/-or, -ion, -ity, -ment, and -ness. And the adjectival suffixes are -able, -al, -ful, ous, -ive. The last, adverbial suffix found is -ly. There are also found the prefixes un-, dis-, im-, mis-, in-, and re-. Secondly, in the morphological process of derivation, there are derivational affixes that changes the part of speech from its base or root, and mostly the negation prefix do not change the part of speech from its root. Based on the result of the research can be concluded as follows : firstly, the derivational affixes that found in comment column of Screamfest youtube channel are –er/-or (22), -ful (13), -ment (13), -ness (11), -ive (9), -ity (8), -ous (6), -ly (44), -able (19), -ance (17), -ion (23), -ize (1), -al (10), un- (13), dis- (4), im(3), mis- (1), in- (3), re- (3), Prefix-Base-Suffix (8), Base-Suffix-Suffix (9). Secondly, the morphological process of derivational affixes are formed through the attaching of affixes to the base or root words, the attaching suffixes can be changes the part of speech from its base, while the attaching prefix does not experience the changes of part of speech. INDONESIA Di situs youtube, ada bagian komentar di bawah yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna youtube untuk merespons video. Kolom komentar ini adalah yang menjadi objek penelitian, terutama channel youtube Screamfest. Peneliti hanya mengambil tipe derivasi sebagai data penelitian. Derivasi itu sendiri dapat didefinisikan sebagai proses pembentukan kata melalui penambahan afiks. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, masalah penelitian dirumuskan menjadi dua pertanyaan: (1) Apa imbuhan derivasional yang ditemukan di kolom komentar saluran youtube Screamfest. (2) Bagaimana proses morfologis afiks derivasi pada kolom komentar channel youtube Screamfest. Untuk menjawab masalah penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan morfologis berdasarkan teori dari Plag (2002) yang digunakan untuk mengetahui jenis imbuhan derivasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis data. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik penggolongan sesama jenis untuk memilah data yang terkait dengan imbuhan derivasional. Dalam menganalisis, ditemukan bahwa: pertama, terdapat derivasi yang ditemukan di kolom komentar channel youtube Screamfest, seperti sufiks verbal -ive, sufiks nominal -al, -ance, -er / -atau, -ion, -ity, -ment, dan -ness. Dan sufiks kata sifat adalah -able, -al, -ful, ous, -ive. Sufiks adverbial terakhir yang ditemukan adalah -ly. Ada juga ditemukan awalan un-, dis-, im-, mis-, in-, dan re-. Kedua, dalam proses morfologis derivasi, terdapat afiks derivasi yang mengubah kelas kata dari basis atau akarnya, dan sebagian besar prefiks negasi tidak mengubah bagian ujaran dari akarnya. Hasil analisis data diperoleh imbuhan derivatif yang ditemukan di kolom komentar channel youtube Screamfest meliputi : pertama, imbuhan derivatif yang ditemukan dalam kolom komentar yaitu –er / -or (22), -ful (13), -ment (13), -ness (11), -ive ( 9), -ity (8), -ous (6), -ly (44), -able (19), -ance (17), -ion (23), -ize (1), -al (10), un- (13), dis- (4), im- (3), mis- (1), in- (3), re- (3), Prefiks-Base-Suffix (8), Base-Suffix-Suffix (9). Kedua, proses morfologis perubahan kelas kata terjadi ketika imbuhan derivatif dibubuhkan pada akar kata, ketika suffix dibubuhkan pada kata dasar akan merubah kelas kata, berbeda dengan prefix, ketika dibubuhkan pada akar kata, tidak akan merubah kelas kata.
