Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman, pemaknaan dan pengalaman wartawan perempuan pada saat peliputan berita kriminal di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode dan teori fenomenologi Alfred Schutz, yang memandang dunia dari sudut pandang orang yang mengalaminya secara langsung dan makna yang ditempelkan padanya. Penelitian dilakukan pada 5 informan dari berbagai media massa yang ada di Kota bandung. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah wartawan perempuan peliput kriminal di kota Bandung memahami profesinya sebagai pekerjaan yang tidak mengenal waktu, memahami berita kriminal bisa diterima sebagai pembelajaran agar lebih waspada atau juga sebagai contoh untuk berbuat jahat, wartawan perempuan peliput kriminal kota Bandung juga memaknai profesinya sebagai wartawan yang profesional, tidak melibatkan emosi dalam menulis berita, mereka juga memaknai profesinya sebagai profesi yang penuh tantangan karena tidak adanya perlakuan khusus untuk wartawan perempuan selama peliputan kriminal, sehingga perlakuan intimidasi terhadap wartawan perempuan sering terjadi. ENGLISH : This research aims to determine the understanding, the use and experience of women journalists at the time of criminal news coverage in Bandung. The study used a qualitative approach, with the phenomenological methods and theories of Alfred Schutz, who viewed the world from the point of view of the person who experienced it directly and the meaning attached to it. The research was conducted on 5 informant from various mass media in Bandung City. While the data collection techniques in this research are by interview techniques, observations and documentation studies. The results of the research obtained is the journalist female criminal in the city of Bandung understand the profession as a work that does not know the time, understand the criminal news can be received as a study to be more alert or also as Example to do evil, journalists female criminals of the city of Bandung also interpreted his profession as a professional journalist, does not involve emotions in writing news, they also interpret his profession as a challenging profession because The absence of special treatment for female journalists during criminal training, so that the treatment of intimidation against female journalists often occurs.
