Abstract

INDONESIA : Pohon zaitun (Olea europaea) merupakan tanaman yang berasal dari Timur Tengah (Iran, Syria dan Lebanon). Tanaman zaitun termasuk dalam keluarga Oleaceae. Tanaman Olea europaea memiliki kandungan kimia seperti minyak zaitun, senyawa fenolik, flavonoid, triterpen, biofenol, dan gula. Banyak penelitian dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi aspek budidaya, kandungan kimia, efek farmakologi (antioksidan, antiinflamasi dan antibakteri), pengaruh jamur dan sebagainya. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah identifikasi struktur kimia golongan senyawa flavonoid yang terkandung dalam ekstrak etil asetat daun zaitun. Isolasi dilakukan dengan metode meserasi, kromatografi vakum cair, kromatografi kolom dan kromatografi lapis tipis. Hasil isolasi didapatkan isolat 10 mg yang diidentifikasi menggunakan spektroskopi magnet inti proton (1H-NMR) dan karbon (13C-NMR) sebagai senyawa golongan flavonoid yaitu; Chrysoeriol. ENGLISH : The Olive Tree (Olea europaea) is a plant originating in the Middle East (Iran, Syria and Lebanon). Olive plants included in the family Oleaceae. Olea Europaea plant has a chemical content such as olive oil, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, triterpen, biophenol, and sugar. Many research conducted to obtain information on aspects of cultivation, chemical content, pharmacological effects (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial), influence of fungi, etc. The purpose of this research is to identification of the chemical structure of the flavonoid contained in the ethyl acetate extract of olive leaves. Isolation was carried out by meseration, liquid vacuum chromatography, column chromatography and thin layer chromatography. Isolation results obtained 10 mg isolates were identified using proton core magnetic spectroscopy (1H-NMR) and carbon (13C-NMR) as flavonoid compounds, namely; Chrysoeriol.
