Abstract

INDONESIA Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi tetapi produksinya masih memerlukan penanganan. Pemberian Volume larutan nutrisidan media tanam yang tepat merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan, hasil dan kualitas buahtomat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi yang tepat ekstrak silika sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Tymoti F1). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai September 2018 di Cimalaka, Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan empat perlakuan yang terdiri dari A = 0 ml-1, B = 15 ml-1, C = 20 ml-1, D = 25 ml-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya pengaruh nyata eksrtak silika sekam padi pada semua konsentrasi yang diberikan terhadap tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Tymoti F1). ENGLISH Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) is one ofhorticultural commodities which has a high economic value but its production still requires to be handling. Application theappropriate volume of nutrient solution and planting media is an effort to increase the growth, yield and quality of tomatoes. This study aimed to determine the influence of extract concentration of silica rice husks to the growth and yield of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Tymoti F1). This study was conducted in July to September 2018 in Cimalaka, Sumedang Regency, West Java usingComplete Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments consist of A = 0 ml-1, B = 15 ml-1, C = 20 ml-1, D = 25 ml-1. The results showed there was no significant effects of silica rice husk extract with all concentrations which applicated to the tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Tymoti F1).
