Abstract

INDONESIA : Metode geofisika semakin banyak digunakan untuk survei pencemaran air tanah. Pencemaran air tanah disebabkan oleh adanya polutan yang merembes ke dalam tanah. Begitu pula yang ditemukan di sekitar sungai Cikijing kecamatan Rancaekek. Air yang melewati sungai tersebut berwarna coklat kehitaman dengan bau yang tidak sedap. Air yang terkontaminasi tersebut diduga merembes ke dalam tanah dan mencemari akuifer dangkal dibawahnya. Metode geolistrik konfigurasi Wenner-beta digunakan untuk mengetahui penyebaran pencemaran air tanah tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di dua tempat yaitu sekitar aliran sungai Cikijing dan wilayah tidak tercemar yang jauh dari kawasan industri sebagai pembanding. Hasil inversi 2D dengan SimPEG menunjukkan bahwa struktur yang diperoleh merupakan struktur perlapisan dangkal (kedalaman kurang dari 20 meter) dengan rentang nilai resistivitas anomali konduktif yang terdeteksi kurang dari 10 Ohm-meter. Dari nilai resistivitas tersebut kontaminasi terhadap akuifer dangkal dapat diidentifikasi ENGLISH : Geophysical methods are increasingly being used for groundwater pollution surveys. Groundwater pollution is caused by pollutants seeping into the soil. Similarly, what was found around the Cikijing river, Rancaekek district. The water that passes through the river is blackish brown with an unpleasant odor. The contaminated water is thought to seep into the ground and contaminate the shallow aquifers below. The Wenner-beta configuration geoelectric method is used to determine the spread of groundwater pollution. The study was conducted in two places, namely around the Cikijing river flow and an uncontaminated area far from the industrial area as a comparison. 2D inversion results with SimPEG show that the structure obtained is a superficial layer structure (depth less than 20 meters) with a range of resistive conductive anomaly values detected less than 10 Ohm-meter. The resistivity value of the contamination of shallow aquifers can be identified.
